Can you please send me the combo update to 0324? yesterday I went to the service to update the front camera software which solves the "Travel Assistant not available" issue... I was hoping they would also update the MIB3 software, but it remained 0306, so I would like to try to update myself. thanks

Thanks Varooom, I was referring to the warranty in general. For example I know that there is a global recall (48S5) for the "travel assist unavailable" error message, and they will need to do a warranty upgrade to the camera software. I wouldn't want them to say: ok, but you updated the software by downloading the files not from authorized sources and therefore you invalidated the warranty. I mean... I don't know if they can see that the customer has updated the software by himself.

I've to check, for sure I've a 2021 Karoq 1.5 DSG with HW 22 and software version 306 (upgraded by Skoda service due to inability to update maps with the original 270).

hi everyone, can I install this update from USB without any dongle (Odis or Carscanner)? In fact, I didn't understand if, without a dongle, there would be a system error at the end of the update. Furthermore, it is not clear to me if Skoda Service sees that I have updated by myself, and can revoke my guarantee.

Thank you anyway. I fixed it, luckily! I disassembled the plastic trunk cover (it is fixed with 1 screw where the handle is, and lots of rivets). So I took the lock off and with a plier I pulled the two screws where the lock attaches to, on the tailgate, a bit so it aligned. Now it closes properly. it certainly won't be the most correct way, but it worked.

but can you confirm that the lock must fit under the hook? now it fits above, where there is a "protrusion" of the hook...it closes well, but it is not correct.

Hi, I have a Karoq that often struggles to close the trunk lid. Sometimes it bounces and doesn't close. A few days ago I noticed that, although the car was closed, pulling the tailgate without pressing the button above the ID number plate... it opened anyway. 😱 I adjusted the side spacers on the tailgate with a torx screwdriver (they are already at minimum) and I disassembled the plastic cover on the floor, where there is the pin where it fits. Now I've managed to fix and it closes, but I'm not sure if it's all lined up. Look at the photo: shouldn't the hook insert itself to embrace the pin? Here it appears to be "above" the pin. Yet strangely it works... Another question: when I open the tailgate, the position of the hook is the same. However, I have seen photos where the black hook is more internal ... so I would not want it to be stuck on "closed". thanks for any help

UPDATE: The official assistance of Skoda Italia told the dealer to come back after the summer to see if by chance an update came out that could solve the problem... it seems absurd to me that 6 months after the commercialization of the predictive cruise control, which works on other models also in Italy, they still do not have a solution...

thanks, my car was shipped with Maps version: ECE 20/3, now is 21/3 (or something like). The update is "over the air" since there is no more SD Card Drive... if that's really the problem, I hope Skoda will do it as soon as possible...what I don't understand is why there is a user, also in Italy, who has Oktavia, on which it works. As far as I know maps are the same on VW group, isn't so?

Hello everyone, I bought a Karoq at the beginning of 2021, in the manual it is specified that from November 2020 the adaptive cruise control becomes predictive cruise control, so it should slow down if you see a curve via GPS or if there is a speed limit reported. I also have the camera for the recognition of road signs, which in fact are shown on the display. In the menu I see the two items (route prediction, allowed speed prediction), but if I activate the cruise control it tells me that the Provisional Adjustment is not available in my country (I don't know how it is translated into English because my menu is in Italian) . I have found many Italian users with the same problem on Karoq. The Italian assistance says to some that it will verify, to others that there is no PCC (which is not true, otherwise it would not be written in the manual and we would not have those menu items). Do any of you have a recent model (late 2020/2021) with a working PCC? or does anyone have the same problem?
