  1. thanks for the info Are your Eibach springs lower than the stock ones or just stiffer?
  2. Hello all, I’ve got a 2017 Laurin and Klement superb, and I’d like to try to reduce the amount of body roll it suffers - which is a lot. I’ve had a Whiteline ARB on an Octavia VRS before which helped, but according to their website there isn’t one for my Superb. Some Googling suggests that aftermarket ARBs aren’t easy to come by for the Superb 3. One idea I did have was that maybe I could acquire a set of ARBs for the Superb Sportline (with DCC), because surely they would fit my car and be stiffer? Any insight on this one is welcome!
  3. Hi guys! I’m considering getting a 2019 Octavia VRS 245 - the one that is equivalent to the Golf GTI performance pack. I was fortunate enough to drive a 2019 Golf GTI performance pack for a few weeks and I absolutely loved the engine and most of all the electronic differential. However in my frugal and practical mind Skoda > VW so I’d rather get the equivalent Octavia. My question is this: is it possible to fit 18 inch wheels on the 245? My understanding is that the 245 has larger brake callipers and comes with 19 inch wheels as standard. But I don’t really like the look of the 19s and would prefer a smaller rim for a more comfortable ride / less fragile wheels and tyres. So does anyone know if it is possible for 18s to fit over the callipers? Thanks y’all!
  4. I’ve looked underneath and the seat is definitely as far down as it will go. When lockdown eases I’ll see if I can get a test drive in a car without a sun roof. thanks
  5. Hello the good people of briskoda! Recently bought a 2017 Superb Laurin and Klement. I am very pleased with the car and like it a lot. My only gripe is the apparent lack of head room in the drivers seat. I’m 6 foot 3 and have the seat as low as it goes, but I often find myself bumping my head on the roof. It is frustrating and annoying to say the least. I’m pretty sure the problem is caused by a combination of factors: 1. The sun roof with the L&K trim reduces headroom inside 2. the superb has a relatively high mounting position for the front seats I really don’t want to have to get rid of this car but I don’t think I can put up with this. Does anyone know what I could do to fix it? It seems like my options are: 1. Buy a different superb without a sunroof (if there is indeed a significant difference in head room) 2. Buy an aftermarket seat which allows me to sit lower 3. Somehow modify the seat mounts to make them lower (which probably would involve some amount of cutting and welding!) As I said I do love this car and would like to keep it for a few years. I’m not freakishly tall so I don’t think I can be the only one who has had this problem! Any help or advice is welcome. Thank you in advance
