It seems the convenience function (holding the lock or unlock button) only works if the one touch works on all windows. If one of them is off the function won't work. So you have to reset it the way people described before: all the way down and hold the button for a couple of secs then up and the same. This solved the one touch for me and after it the key fob magic came back as well.

I deleted all data from AA to see what happens but it still doesn't work.

Messages are that the parking assist doesn't work, manouvering brake doesn't work, Sos calls doesn't work etc. But the middle screen is blank.

My infotainment system now simply wouldn't come alive. The screen stays blank after launch and lots of messages pop up. The car works but the system in the middle seems to be dead.

I have just experienced the above and it seems a simple ignition off, open door solution wouldn't solve it. I am not even sure if the head unit is under power as it stays completely blank when I start up the car. Do you think the reset would work this way?

Yeah I get you. Mine is a company car so not hit directly by all these annoying problems. One thing is for sure: this series of Octavia cannot repeat the success of the older models. There are so many minor bugs which completely kills the user experience. Back to the topic it seems if I press hard on the brake pedal it kind of solves the issue.

Any update on this topic? I have the same problem since a week or two and is quite frustrating. Engine can stall and brakes does this cracking noise and then it releases and car jumps forward. It randomly happens...

You mean it is pushed to all cars online? To be honest this wireless solution seems to very attractive but GPS and music drains your battery so quickly you will need some charger. Without the wireless charge it almost doesn't make any sense to use it only for shorter routes.
