  1. Thanks for the replies I've nit had a car take so long to warm up before, even my 1963 Morris minor warms up faster.😅
  2. How long does your Superb Mk3 take to warm up, mine takes up to 6 miles in ice weather, 3-4 in below 10 degrees. Also if the heater fan us in to help demist it stays at two bars for ever if only go to the town3 miles. When it's warmed up it sits at 90 deg no problem.
  3. Well I'm impressed we've had our 2022 Superb 2.0 DSG Estate for about 4 weeks, we went out for breakfast on Saturday. We live in the north east of England, the cafe was The Ace Cafe in Wimbledon, London (it's the sort of thing we do we had a nice day out). The reason I'm impressed is that on the way back I achieved 74 mpg, which gave me a tank range of over 1000 miles, our house to La Rascasse in Monaco. I did have a little tickle of the throttle nearer home hence the reduced figures in the photo.
  4. I would like the dash to show fuel MPG of the presenttrip in the left hand pane, but am struggling. Can it be done? Or do I have to live with it.
  5. All my radio stations have vanished as the photo shows, I’m hoping the combined knowledge on the forum will point me in the correct direction.I came to it the other day and this is all I have, needless to say 88.3 isn’t a station. I’ve reset to factory and gone through the setup a couple of times but the same 88.3 is all I get Any Ideas Thanks in advance.
  6. Not yet, as it happens its been OK since we came back from Europe, I can make it happen but only when the engine has been running foe 30 + miles and is really hot. I'll post here when I get it done. I'd post a video of the pedel but it appers as though I would need to get it hosted else where else.
  7. It will be going in but not to a dealer, my local guy has never let me down on anything.
  8. That's my favourite thought, I've had it years ago on a Ford Corsair but there was no pedal at all after it happened, I was just wondering if it was a common fault. Am I correct in saying that the master cylinder is a plastic of some kind, my local MOT guy seems to think they are. I'm passed wrapping myself around the pedals on my back to have a look.
  9. And it would show up by a drop in the brake master reservoir, it has been doing it for well over 4000 miles. If it sucked the fluid back into the system it would also suck in air as well.
  10. Has anyone had any problems with the clutch pedal just travelling to the floor with no resistance when the pedal is pressed very gently and slowly, but acts normally when pressed normally. Now before you all ask if there is a leak in the system there isn’t, and I mean categorically there isn’t a leak, I’ve had the problem for 4-5 weeks in that time I’ve travelled to the south of France with a caravan in tow and the fluid in the master cylinder is still at the same level, 3000 miles.
  11. If one has the fix every one should have it.
  12. No I don't believe you were just unlucky, our saga did not end where I left it. At about 6 month old the cruise control would sometimes not initialise when I turned the ignition on and I would have to switch off and try again. This sometimes meant I would have to pull over stop so I could switch off and restart sometimes up to 4 times. The Stop/Start very often would not work correctly and before people say that it depends on what electrics I am using I would switch EVERYTHING off even after a half hour drive on the motorway the Stop/Start did not work correctly. All my local dealer would say was ‘There are no fault codes to read so we can’t do anything ‘. At the first year service I told them again that the fault was still there and again the answer was ‘There are no fault codes to read so we can’t do anything ‘. Now at this, one of the mechanics was in reception and he piped up ‘Isn’t that the same as the red one we had the other week, as that was just a setting in the ECU that needed tweeking takes a couple of minutes’ He said it was a voltage setting that was slightly high on something. You’ve never seen a set of key passed across a desk as quick in you life ‘I’ll wait’ I said, off he went and a couple of minutes later he returned and said that it was done. Since then the Cruise control and the Stop/Start has worked perfectly, we went the south of france in the car and after a long run at around 80 the car was great.
  13. Picked the car up this morning and all is well the Cruise Control is working well and the Stop/Start is as well, I tested it as I stopped for at least 4 minutes and it was as it should be. Happy days, the problem was the indicator stalk they had one sent up overnight and it was fitted and tested by 11.00 am so I’m a happy boy.
