  1. Happy to find this post: thanks! However: the main part of my spring is a total mess - and stuck around the middle of the tube (with the metal/Alu end part). Haven't succeeded in pulling it out, or pushing it (either way). Any suggestions?
  2. Managed to change the ballast from the wheel arch! 'Blind', and hardly room far any tools, just the bit and tiny pliers. Turned out to be unbrako/hexagon screws (two, not three), not torx. Visible moisture short ciruit oxidation/damage inside the ballast connection. Installed used/refurbished ballast workes fine! PHEW - happy camper!
  3. Hei, The Columbus on my 2012 Mk II Superb has resently startet loosing power, very short 'flickers' (0,5seconds), with different intervals (anything from 2 to 30seconds), but sound and picture reappears instantly without the standard powerup. Temperature has been subzero Celsius, not sure if the frequency changes with temperature. Fuse(s) seems ok. Any news on this?
  4. Thanks. But I have swapped bulbs; they don't work in left lamp - only in right side. Asking about the ballast: how I can determin if the ballast is at bfault and how to reach/exchange it.
  5. Thanks, I will do a diagnose then. Do you know if the antenna is in the driver side door handle, and exchangable? Or will I have to change the whole handle?
  6. Thanks tuningmania. I have two keys, new batteries, both have stopped working completely on driver side, both work 100% on passenger side :-(
  7. My driver side keyless KESSY system suddenly stopped working. Works fine on passenger side front door handle, and with the remote/key buttons. Any tips/suggestions?
  8. My Superb mk2 display is telling me the xenon left side near light needs changing. However; this lamp works in the right side head lamp (and the functioning bulb from the right side does not work in the left lamp). All other bulbs/functions of this head lamp work, side/hight adjustment, fuses, connections are fine. Two questions: - how can I confirm that it is the ballast that is faulty? - is the left side ballast replacable from the wheel arch (below), without lamp removal? Will I need special tools? This headlamp is glued in place :-o, (I know); quick fix after an unfortunate encounter with a large dear a couple of years back, in which all the attachments broke...
