I agree the batteries will be fine for heating the car, but I know the batteries don’t like the cold. I’m sure I read somewhere that if it’s to cold the car won’t run on batteries.

Unless it’s plugged in when you do the pre heat you’ll just be lowering your electric range. I’m not sure how good heating from the batteries would be in the cold conditions you get there also.

I picked up a new A4 a few years back. On the drive home there was a horrible banging noise coming from the back when going over bumps etc. Turned round and went back to Audi, they had left the transportation blocks on the rear.

New to the group, been looking through the forum for a while so I thought I’d better sign up. Got a new VRS iV 4 weeks ago.
