Hi all, I bought my petrol VRS new with a service plan for two years which have both been completed. I thought the first was just an oil change and the second included air filter, pollen filter and spark plugs. I've just checked my digital certificate which appears to show both services being an oil change only. I'm due to pay for my third year service at the end of the April which I thought was an oil change only but I'm concerned it might not have had an air filter change until it's 4th year if that's the case. My question is, have I got the wrong end of the stick and secondly, if not, do others digital certificate on the app show the same? The app shows the services on a variable plan (I was never given an option on this) but I wanted to get it serviced yearly. Thanks in advance.

Easily get into the 40s on a 25 mile motorway run if you're sticking to 70mph.

Check that thread out mate, should help a little. The squeaking does my head in. I've wrapped my dash cam wire around the mirror and surprisingly it seems to have helped the issue.

Looks like a nice facelift, not sure it's enough for me to seriously consider changing my current 2021 VRS though. I was hoping to see a 4WD version of the petrol VRS

Creaking noise from roof console
BNB90 replied to Mirrorcrax's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
Anyone had this issue resolved through the dealer? Mine has started creaking constantly under acceleration even with the fake noise turned off. -
I've let it run empty, definitely odd as it used to work.

My car has stopped displaying the low washer fluid warning and I think the headlight washers don't appear to activate anymore. Before they used to activate quite regularly and the light would come on when there was still a fair amount left. I use mixture of water and the genuine screenwash. It is due in for warranty work next week so I will ask but was wondering if anyone else had noticed the same?

It could be possible they are doing them in batches? Mine is a 2021 model. I've spoken to my dealership and it's confirmed the recall is on there and it's got to be done when it goes in next (which is October for warranty work)

Hi mate, someone put a link into one of the threads ages ago and I've kept it bookmarked. https://aus.skoda.com.au/request/vin-checker

That's brill. Hoping to get mine when it's in the workshop October. Looks like it's gone on as an outstanding recall

No damage whatsoever. Fingers crossed it's replaced. Booked in for a couple of weeks time so will update with the outcome.

Thanks both, spoke to Skoda and booked the car in along with a software update to 1941. Looking online this should be a sealed unit that should last a considerable amount of time so i'm hoping they will replace it. I'm told they will charge me £150 to investigate and if its not covered under warranty I'll be charged for that!

Hi all, I have noticed what I think is an excessive amount of water in the tail light. I also noticed today a few of the lights in the strip are out also. Can anyone advise if theirs looks similar and would this be covered under warranty? Thanks in advance

I've just seen the second part of this question, in relation to service history iirc it's stored on the infotainment in the vehicle section. You can also download a digital report if you log into skoda connect from a Web browser which shows any services and/or warranty repairs.

I spoke to the dealer about this when my car got to the 2 year mark. Their advice was to leave it if I was happy with the performance which I was. I've also owned other brands of cars from new and never had issues with the air con despite not getting it serviced.
