  1. I've just come back from holiday and towed my caravan with my Superb iV from Glasgow to Silverdale, then Keswick, then back to Glasgow. Having previously towed with the 2.0 turbo diesel Superb, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I got it fully charged before leaving, had it on hybrid and in 'B' mode on the DSG box, and it handled the journey no problem. No overheating, 30+ to the gallon even when pulling just on petrol and handled all sorts of terrain from Motorways to hills to very tight and windy country roads. I have the factory fitted tow-bar so maybe that helps.
  2. On from this topic, my 2021 Superb IV SE Technology doesn't have the USB-C port in the top mirror housing, it's just a blank (so much for the "Technology" handle ). Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit the USB-C hub there and how easy it is?
  3. Just an update. I've been using the TP Link Kasa for a couple of weeks now with no issues. No signs of overheating, and it's giving me the figures I need for my expense claims.
  4. Thanks. I'm currently using a Teckin on mine so I can turn it off when it's charged, but it doesn't have energy monitoring.
  5. Just an update. There doesn't seem to be something on this that I can get off the car or app. I could get it off a home charging point except I don't have one as we are planning to move house. So my solution is to use a Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring (TP-Link Kasa KP115) which the company said they will accept. Just for information in case anyone else has a similar issue.
  6. Thanks. I don't have that option at the moment. Apparently other cars can do it as my boss has a BMW hybrid, but it would be useful to find a way to do it so I can claim my money back.
  7. Hi. I have looked for this but can't seem to find it. My Superb iV is a company car, so I can claim for the electricity used to charge it in a month. However, to do this I need to know how many kWh my vehicle has consumed in the month and I can't find anywhere I can look at this. I have only had it just over a month so the "Long Term" figure would still show what I have used, if I could find it. I can find average and instant figures, but I can't find on the panel how many kWh the car has actually consumed. Does anybody know where I can find it? Thanks in advance.
  8. Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. Stephen (or Steve, or Ste or Stevie, I don't care ). I'm on to my third Skoda Superb. All company cars and as you may have guessed, I'm very happy with them. I've just got my new car with is a 2021 Superb iV SE Technology in Energy Blue (nicer than the old blue IMHO). My first auto and first hybrid but very happy with it so far. I'm an Englishman living in Glasgow for some 17 years.
  9. Hi, first post but thought I'd add it here. Dropped off on 27th May. Superb iV SE Technology in Energy Blue. Only extra added are rear wiper and tow bar. My first hybrid vehicle and liking it so far. (My prevous car was a November 16 Superb SE 2.0 diesel).
