  4. Anyone towing 1500 kg with 2.0tdi superb manual 150 according to the caravan club the caravan is to heavy although tow limit in hand book is 2000 kg for the car ?
  5. Bit the bullet and booked in with local auto electrician/ computer tech problem is it isn't all the time so hopefully it will go into limp when he has it.
  6. No codes shown new ECU was fitted and still has faults drives fine then at random faults come up toggle the ignition several times faults disappear until it happens again even had a new key cut and coded to the car it didn't help.
  7. I have had to book another specialist last one fitted a new ECU and harness did nothing
  8. Has had two batteries fitted and coded but still does it no codes are stored very strange Only other issue is key batteries last only a couple of days

Hi I have a 2.0 diesel and I am getting random faults that are not permanent low oil pressure tyre pressure warning front assist not working esc not working handbrake fault and more but they clear with no history shown on the scanner and car runs fine until the next time it happens anyone else had this problem.
  10. Yeah it's definitely been opened up there was no charge from the ECU repair company just postage
  11. No sent to a specialist in England's hire who returned.

  13. The second hand ECU the specialist fitted had umpteen fault codes which would come back after coding they came to the conclusion that ECU was faulty also, so bit the bullet and ordered new from vag/TPS. E bay part so it was cheap for a reason.
  14. Tried that didn't go well Skoda won't touch it gave up and ordered a new one but it's taking ages to arrive
