Anyone towing 1500 kg with 2.0tdi superb manual 150 according to the caravan club the caravan is to heavy although tow limit in hand book is 2000 kg for the car ?

Bit the bullet and booked in with local auto electrician/ computer tech problem is it isn't all the time so hopefully it will go into limp when he has it.

No codes shown new ECU was fitted and still has faults drives fine then at random faults come up toggle the ignition several times faults disappear until it happens again even had a new key cut and coded to the car it didn't help.

I have had to book another specialist last one fitted a new ECU and harness did nothing

Has had two batteries fitted and coded but still does it no codes are stored very strange Only other issue is key batteries last only a couple of days

Hi I have a 2.0 diesel and I am getting random faults that are not permanent low oil pressure tyre pressure warning front assist not working esc not working handbrake fault and more but they clear with no history shown on the scanner and car runs fine until the next time it happens anyone else had this problem.

Yeah it's definitely been opened up there was no charge from the ECU repair company just postage

The second hand ECU the specialist fitted had umpteen fault codes which would come back after coding they came to the conclusion that ECU was faulty also, so bit the bullet and ordered new from vag/TPS. E bay part so it was cheap for a reason.

Tried that didn't go well Skoda won't touch it gave up and ordered a new one but it's taking ages to arrive

Water damage engine had been steam cleaned or jet washed in the past. ECU sent off for repair by a specialist repairer but was beyond repair, it was full of water and was badly corroded inside,so new ECU ordered from TPS.

Hi anyone else waiting on a new programmed ECU for their superb diesel 6 weeks and counting.

Hi I am new to the site and am hoping for help I recently had a brink towbar fitted and coded to my MK3 and since have had it coded three times by the fitter. I still have errors eg start stop Park pilot inop cruise control inop front assist inop these errors are temporary and are not stored on the cars system.Local Skoda dealer checked for error codes and none are stored on the car, can anyone help please.

My 90 day warranty has run out now looks like i will have to change discs and pads myself just got run around from arnold

Just dull scraping noise stripped and refitted still the same .

Hi can anyone help my front brakes are very noisy skoda says they are all like that is this true. I was going to swap them for a branded set are they 312 mm on the mk 3 sel.
