Haha ah yes, well spotted Yep I’m certain it’s 90mm x 35mm, give or take a few mm, so no chance of the cameras listed fitting. I’m not opposed to making the hole bigger if that’s what it takes. I’d just feel much happier if there’s someone who has done it before and can describe the best tool to use, or what they used to rust inhibit and paint with after. Maybe a dreamer would make light work of it. Rob.

Hi everyone, some great advice in this thread. Ive just measured my boot handle and it is tiny, like 90x30cm or something. My car is a 2014 estate. Has anyone cut their boot handle hole to make the aperture big enough for one of the handles with a camera? Any advice on what to cut it with or pictures anywhere, how to protect the bare metal afterwards etc? ta.

I’ve had a bulb out since I bought the car 2 weeks ago, ordered some complete replacements from Ali Express and they arrived this week. Just tried to fit them at work and one wouldn’t push on to the plug, turns out the old light fitting had a corroded pin that has sheared and disappeared into the plug Does anyone know a replacement part number for the plug? Or a suitable replacement female part to crimp on to the reg light plug? Why are simple jobs, rarely ever simple

I’ve always replaced the washer during an oil change? It’s a crush washer isn’t it? This is my first Skoda so maybe it’s different? I just don’t want to start the service and then find that I need a replacement as that will be too late. @Carlstonit is the vRS TDI 184, 2015.

Hi. I’ve been looking all over but I can’t find a definite sump plug replacement washer part number. My local BCC superfactors wants £6 for the replacement, which I think is a bit cheeky. A new washer should only be £1 I’d have thought. I’ve bought a Mann oil filter P. No HU7020Z. I don’t believe it comes with a new plug or seal. if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Where did you find the MIB2 amp out of interest? I’m in the same position as you I believe so I’m really interested in how you get on and what bits you end up requiring, if you could keep this updated that would be great 👍🏻 Good luck.
