So I’m trying to add a few things using vsds but I’m alittle stuck as my stalk on the right hand side says trip but I haven’t got any info coming up on the dash and I want to know how I can get it on the dash please as all I have displaying on my dash is travel time that’s it ?? Please can someone help ?

What features do we all have using the VCDS ? im wanting to have the beep when the car locks any ideas how to do that ? ive already done the auto lock and unlock but what else is worth having done ?

It is the vrs 2.0 tsi 200bhp give or take standard

I can’t post the other fault as says pic is too big The other shows the other fault of the p0507 that was all

Just an update been using vcds this morning

So with the stored code it was the 2 as mentioned p0171 and the p0507 which I’m told could be the pcv valve so I’m guessing I just replace that and see how the car behaves I guess you say the newest AJ part number do you have it ? Would it also fit mine ?

Or could it be still the air flow mass sensor ? It doesn’t come happen all the time only once it’s been driven at say 60-70 for a while then it shows up on dash and runs alittle rough

So can I still get a delete kit for this engine ?

Hi I’m alittle confused cause I’m looking to do the pcv delete and I ordered a kit from eBay and apparently it don’t fit my engine ?? Cause I have 2 issues with my car I was thinking if I delete the pcv that would make a big difference but I’m not sure I can do that on my engine tho ? Sorry I’m new here

Hi sorry I’m new kinda here I have a 2.0 tfsi 2009 just brought it today drove it from London and I’ve got the engine light on 🤬 however it shows up as faults are 16555/P0171/000369 – FUEL TRIM; BANK 1: SYSTEM TOO LEAN 16891/P0507/001287 – IDLE CONTROL SYSTEM RPM: HIGHER THAN EXPECTED. My guess is the pcv valve and apparently can buy a delete kit for them is it easy enough to do ? also I have cleaned the maf sensor but that all seems fine ?? Any advice will be great I plan on keeping the car seen as it was a new purchase today
