Hi all, hope you’re well. As I’ve probably previously posted regarding my canton system not working, one day the sub went off, then the door speakers and now only the rear door speakers work and front tweeters. Scanned it on ODIS/VCDS and the external amp was switched off but when we try to click to turn it off it turns off but the music works on “none” option. Below I’ll post the codes I’m getting. TIA.

No buddy , that looks like the latest SW I’m sure. That’s the one I’m trying to get but messed my screen up in the process now I have to get it fixed

Hi dude, cheers. The good thing is yours still works and was only a speaker replacement. Mines completely bodged. Only rear mid bass and front tweeters work, subwoofer comes on when it wants, then goes off again. I suspect wiring issue, do you have any idea where can check? Also when I change the canton optimisation setting around from like front to “all” all the speakers and sub work for a fraction of a second. It’s beginning to mess with me which is why I can’t really spend £630 on a new amp, or if it needs a new Amundsen unit. Confusing and don’t know who to ask for help.

Hi any issues after replacement? I am having issues with my canton, first was load of rattles, then the sub stopped working and then all the speakers and the dash speaker and tweeters only work. Today I did a little clean of the car and the sub and rear mid bass speakers started working again but the front midbass isn’t. Oh and the sub has gone off again. What to troubleshoot next?

Oh also, the door speakers no longer work now, just the dash speaker and the tweeters. Sorry forgot to include it in my post.

Hi all, having issues with the canton system. First issue was the sound randomly pausing, stopping between my music, then the canton subwoofer went off (not working anymore), and then the right speaker started popping, now the right speaker pops. I’m getting tired of it now, is this down to the speakers and sub or the amp/infotainment system? Because a new amp is £600 and I’m not spending that, I’m upgrading soon anyway but not soon enough, and I need music when i drive lol. Any tips?

Hey guys, my right side front headlight and rear tailight have stopped working. Is this a case of blown fuses/bulbs if so, which one? Thanks guys!

Hi mate cheers for the quick reply, my bad I’ve had a busy day. I will buy the genuine stuff, roughly how much do you think it will cost? As I will be doing the DSG service from skoda for £215 too. Also, whilst I’m here. Is it possible to remap my car at this mileage, many say it’ll be fine if it’s been a well looked after car, which it is by the looks of it. Thanks buddy! Hey Thankyou so much mate! It was serviced at 93k, I’ve only just brought it and now it’s at 96 as I only do motorway mileage and is showing service due. I will check paperwork and get back to you about it. Once again, appreciate your reply buddy.

Hi guys I’m new here . I Have a Octavia Vrs TDI 184 DSG 2017, I’d like to know what the best service interval is for me. I drive 100 miles a day only motorway miles, brought the car on 93k but now on 96 and says “inspection due”. Also where is the best place for all the service parts? Thanks guys!
