  1. Hi all, Scala 1.5 Manual Style from 2022 here. I'm struggling with enabling Android Auto on my car. I have AA Wireless so, yeah, it works that way, but I'm unable to run it via cable. I have S23 Ultra, latest Android and HomeUI update. Tried 5 different cables. Nothing works. It recognizes my phone, but AA just won't start. Did someone experience similar issue? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks
  2. Out of curiosity, where did you get that? Purchased at the dealership or you ordered it online?
  3. Thanks for replying. I was researching which coolant is the best to use and was about to refill it today from the one at the gas station. It's a ready mix. I'll take a close look at it in coming weeks. The car has a first service in March, so I'll tell them to look into it nevertheless.
  4. Hi guys, Scala 1.5 TSI here. The car has been sitting at the parking for around a week. This morning I started the car and I had "Check Coolant level" with red exclamation triangle light. But when I went back home, the light was gone. The car is behaving normally. Anyway, the car has 26k km. If the coolant needs refilling, which one should I use? Thanks Edit: checked now. The coolant is just barely below the minimum level.
  5. Hi all, So basically, someone scratched my bumper, presumably when they maneuvered out of their spot. The cars were parked on the side. The damage is small, but... it hurts. My insurance doesn't cover these hit & run accidents. The bumper is plastic, so I guess there is no paste or something similar? Any somewhat easy way to fix this on my own? Thanks!
  6. Damn. Well, it could be battery, but the best thing to do it is to drive it to the dealership. The car has warranty, right?
  7. I have the same colour on my Scala, but I wanna those rims 🤣 What's under the hood? 1.5 TSI?
  8. Congrats, mate! I love the color, and those rims 🤩
  9. Thank you so much, guys! Great info! Had no idea. Thanks!
  10. Hi guys. Basically, I'm a complete noob when it comes to rims. All I know is that I have 16'' default ones. These: The specs I need are "spacing between the holes". I have these two options: I also have "ET". I have no idea what's that. So what do I choose? Thanks for the help and I apologise for my complete lack of knowledge when it comes to rims 😅
  11. Yeah, it could be a while before it arrives. I've ordered my Scala in September 2021 and it arrived in March 2022. That was pre-war, but in the midst of the semiconductor crisis. I had to bug my dealer about the delivery situation, and I suggest you do the same. When it comes to the car itself, I'm loving it so far! Good luck and report back!
  12. Yeah, I didn't try to figure out how much my Scala would be worth if I sold it right away, but used Scalas in Croatia go for between 25k and 14k EUR, so it's not too bad. So far, my Scala has been running smoothly, however I have noticed a somewhat odd sound when the car shifts into 2-cylinder mode. According to what I've read online, it should be normal. Great to see your Scala finally arrived. It really took a while.
  13. WOOHOOOO!!! Finally, man!!! So happy for you! 😁 How are you liking it so far? 🙂
  14. Thanks for that! Hvala ti! 🙂
  15. Hi guys, A 2022 Scala 1.5 TSI with 150 HP. When the car switches into a 2-cylinder mode, I hear a resonance-like vibrating sound. It's usually audible at greater speeds, such those on a motorway. The vehicle doesn't vibrate. It sounds like vibrations. I'm not sure how to put it better. Is it normal and common to experience this? Thanks
  16. OMG, I apologize for replying so late! I totally overlooked your question. Honestly, I don't know. I never bothered to keep the data consistent. My most recent vehicle was a Corsa 1.3 CDTI, a 75 horsepower diesel designed primarily for city driving, and its fuel efficiency was acceptable. "Acceptable": my fuel costs weren't too high 😄 But then again, that was a different time. With this war, inflation and whatnot, everything is a bigger bang for the buck. Additionally, the 1.5 TSI is a more powerful engine, so a higher consumption is expected. In the meantime, I got used to the petrol engine and learned how to drive it effectively. On the open road I get around 5,9 l on average (for a 100 km trip). As for urban driving, it all depends whether I use A/C or not. So it's around 7.5 l on average. Also, when it comes to changing gears to 6th, I'm following the car's suggestions. Here in Zagreb, the traffic can be REALLY congested in the morning/afternoon. So you can rarely change to higher gears. There are some parts of the route where I can drive the car a bit faster. At around 70 kph it already suggests that I should change to 6th ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  17. Ok, started the car today and it got fixed by itself. Probably some software bug or something. Thanks anyway guys. At least now I know that the infotainment system can be rebooted!
  18. Thanks. I'll try that.
  19. Hi guys, Encountered this problem today. SmartLink seems "stuck". I'm pushing the SmartLink button in the menu, but nothing happens. Seems like SmartLink froze or something? I've read that you can do a factory reset for SmartLink specifically, but I couldn't find it in the menu. Is it possible to restart the Skoda Infotainment system? Because turning it off and on does nothing. Skoda Scala 2022 with Bolero. Thanks!
  20. Yep, I sold my old one three weeks after Scala landed. I like the fact that the old chap is still happy and driving around with a new owner 😁😂
  21. Wanted to do the same, but gave up after I found out I'd have to route the cables through the whole car 😄 So I bought Garmin DashCam Tandem that records inside the cabin. It captures some of the stuff that happens behind the car 😛
  22. Finally some good news, man
  23. Thanks, man. Hope it won't happen again anytime soon 🙂
  24. Ok, update. The DRL works today No idea what happened yesterday. Perhaps some software thing or whatever.
