where did you get the lift kit from mate ... im after one for my octavia scout

yep im with you on that all the mods on my outback "lift kit, AT tires , bull bar , compressor, Molle panels were all covered via standard insurance as long as they were declared

bottom pic lights are too low to give any actual beam spread . me my seif im doing light bars ... less to see less to nick

yea a lot of stuff is " home made" so has no crash test safe cert etc .. its all about making " sensible " choices and not making it blatantly obvious to the authorities

ive asked this before as i was looking to bring my subaru ( in the picture ) back to the uk with the front bar etc and many were saying that it would be legal so i cant see any real probs with the option you fitted .. they are big in AU but it has to be securely bolted in place if not it will vibrate like F...

looks like your best option then mate .... as regards upgrading factory speakers i have been using Hertz for the past few years but that was in my subaru outback in australia but on the whole yep good speakers

i would upgrade the factory speakers if you gonna put some duff duff in the boot ..

might be time for new shocks n springs all round i reckon

think my octavia has a metal slam panel

will be getting it sorted after xmas so will have a proper look . can always mount it to the slam panel other wise

gonna be mounting my light bar behind the grille . looks good

yep mine kicks to the left as well

have notice that while traveling over man hole covers etc that the back end seems to step out ... anyone else had or experienced this ...? i take it that the rear end is adjustable etc ?

ive only owned it about 6 weeks and i did report the mirrors were not working when i went to view it ... they did a lot of work on it before i picked it up including fit 2 new doors mirrors...im waiting for the weather to get a bit more frost into it so i can really see if they are working properly but and like you i leave mine on all the time ... Im comparing it to the mirrors on my 02 Audi A2 TDI .. they heat up that fast you can see the steam coming off them in no time at all

ok mate whats that in english and can it be by passed so i can control the mirrors on and off when i want ?

Now the weather has turned the old door mirrors are covered in water spray etc . But the heated mirrors only operate at a certain temp drop. Is there a way to have them come on when I want ?
