So... The saga Makes me feel. Sad looking at this but here we go... Took to a trusted garage and had the codes read and cleared... All came back...

6mnths and things have been reported straight away...

Think it's had the black pack fitted minus the badges, there's no chrome around the windows but need to check if it's vinyl Wheels look fresh either powdercoat or paint.

And the results are in Good news. All fixed. The instrument cluster needed to be reset on the diagnostic tool. Now is spot on. They told me it lost its mem when the car was without the battery charge. Sound feasible?

No, didn't come to the garage with the issue so wasn't questioned, it very much "well it not there now" kinda thing went over the rest of it brakes etc looks like new. Wait and see what comes back after he throws it on diagnostic I guess!

What would be the reason for this? Any faults or common issues relaying to this to be made aware of? The sweep on the start up seems smooth enough?

Agreed, looks like those faults have been addressed, but see my previous. 🤔 Head scratcher that one!

So I went, I looked i liked... But The instrument cluster ( rev gauge) decided it wanted to stick at 6k rpm... Just the needle however... Nothing else.. No errors came up on the dash just that. It then went back down very judder when turned off. I couldn't replicate it, but noticed the needle was still juddering when I restarted it and continued the test drive Any ideas?

If the superb pans out to what im hoping, I'd be intrested in this, the mats anyway, if still for sale?

Good morning everyone, im going up to Manchester to go looking at a mk3 superb in red, its a 2.0 Tsi, Laurin and klement dsg. Ive done the usual hpi check but there something bothering me, see attached pic Namely engine MIL inoperative or indicates malfunction yet suddenly no mot issues 10 days later and no mention of light Am I looking into this too much?

Hello and good morning! Didn't think I'd be finding my way back to the forums, but you know what, kinda missed it! Looking at getting a mk3 superb in red later and going to be on a train to Manchester to have a look at it, just hope it's as good as I'm hoping!
