I think its connected to the washer nozzle on the wipers. So no extra motor/pump needed.

That’s good to hear considering its a RHD version of the car as usually they are the ones that have more problems.

We used Carwow as well with Garlands and it was a pain free process. I think Carwow is like a referral program and once you buy/book the car with the dealer, they have no visibility or deal with any of that. They get some money from sending potential buyers to dealers and in return, we, customers, get a decent deal. As for the car itself, I have no clue when I will be getting it. FIngers crossed.

When you say Garlands, you mean Garlands in Aldershot? Its good to hear positive things about them as I did order my Octavia from them, I get an email every week though there has been no update on the car itself. Did order it in early November so not really hoping to hear something anytime soon.

Yeah, I think this was inevitable. Most manufactures are removing features and increasing prices and the wait times are getting ridiculous. Worst time to buy a car it seems.

So now that the Rear View Camera is removed as an option from every Trim other than the VRS, does anyone know if the Retrofit camera, hoping for an OEM one, will work with Virtual Pedal? Also looking for companies that do a good job in the south in or around London.

So the configurator is back in the UK. Came back this morning. The biggest thing is that Rear View Camera is no longer an option for any Trim level other than the VRS. I ordered a SEL Octavia on the 10th with the Rear View Camera Option but was told yesterday that its no longer available and their ordering system flagged as it being unavailable. I guess time to look into retrofit options around London. If someone has any suggestions for OEM, would love to hear. Looking at the new Brochure, it does say now that Rear View Camera is only for VRS which is a bummer.
