  3. As above both are for sale together.

The wheeel, a Datel Super Sports 3x (I think that is the full title), is almost new and the game is in excellent condition. The steering wheel will work on either Xbox 360, PS3 or PC. It is great fun but more grown up things need money spending on them.

    I hate growing up

    £26

Collection from West Midlands (can meet within a reasonable distance) or PM to work out postage.

  4. Combination of badge & petrol. The MK6 GTI Sells for the same used as it does new. The same engine in the VRS drops big time due to the badge. Diesel will always have better residuals as running costs are going up more and more and the VRS is still aimed at the family market. That said price it well and there will always be a buyer. Depreciation does suck but it is part and parcel of buying a new car. Been there and won't be doing it again!!

I agree but the price I have asked is actually low and still the market is very slow as you have said the fact it is petrol really does not help.

Same here - only over the last couple of months has the Network Q car valuer gone below what i paid for my car in April 10 and that is without any options

Think the waiting list helps massively with residuals..

Also Vat free or Vat equivalent discount, it amounts to the same thing - are we really being that pedantic - does it matter? :dull:

Is the waiting list only for diesels?? Current price is £5K below drive the deal price of June 2010 which is steep to say the least. Somebody is going to get a bargain :) wishing I could keep it now :(

  5. Depreciation is typically heavy for the first 18 months or so, before levelling off. Selling a car 12 months in is always going to result in a big loss regardless of make / model.

I bought the car at going on a year old at much below the new price and the depreciation has been heavy over the past few months.

Think of it in the buyer point of view. he saves £1400 for a car is not 'new' and have no say in the options or colours, i know i would rather have a new car then saving £1400

£1400 was only in one month not the full depreciation a buyer would typically save £5000+ buying an 18 month old car and still have 18 months warranty. I accept often buying a new car might be a priority rather than saving.

why do people keep saying they got there car VAT free....no you didnt!

But i agree the depreciation is crap not as much as a BMW though :(

Really, I did ok with my 3 series although I did get a very good price both when buying and selling about 18 months ago.

  6. I unfortunatly allowed my heart to rule my head when purchasing my VRS 12 months ago and opted for a petrol TSI model.

Had no intention of selling anytime soon if ever but since then life wise a few major things have happened and I need to sell. The only thing is despite having good equity in the car 12 months ago the depreciation is crippling (£1400 in one month) and there are no private buyers out there.

    The moral, buy diesel ??

  7. Netgear Rangemax WPN824 v2 wireless router £6

  8. This has been in the garage gathering dust and is a powerful strimmer.

550W Motor. 320mm Cutting Width. Twin cutting lines with automatic line feed. Adjustable front handle

Due to the weight it is collection only (Birmingham area / Midlands)

    £15

  9. I had the good fortune to visit my local body shop and get a £550 quote to spray my bonnet and have a wheel refurbed. Whilst there they showed me around their new premesis and they had a couple of brand new Jags.

When I commented on them she said they had come in to change the colour of the alloys and they had some Leon Cupra's as well. When the customer orders the a factory option of black wheels (£600??) for example the dealer places a normal order and has the wheels sprayed when the car is delivered paying only £300, does this sound right???

  10. I am considering selling my ex900 tablet computer it runs android software.

    Built in Wifi

    7" Screen

It is in excellent condition and can be used for surfing the web and particularly as an e-book/reader using the Kindle App.

If I decide to sell I would want £45 for it, postage £5 or collection from Midlands area.

    Any questions pm, thanks.

  11. there are mixed reviews for the PS3 tyres on the GTI forum. some guys love them others say they are a step down from the PS2 that has just stopped being produced. others have said they wore out really quickly.

the PS3 are not a replacement for the PS2 either apparently. From what ive read on adds and comparisons etc, its a replacement for the Pilot Exalto, and the Michelin supersport tyre is the replacement for the PS2.

Also Good year have just released the new generation f1 tyre, not seen any comparison or test results yet

    Thanks,

I tried to order the F1 tyre but there is no stock until the end of May at the earliest apparently. Haven't had chance to see if the PS3 is any good yet as I have only driven 5 or 6 miles on them.
