  1. Hello, me and my wife have exactly same cars - 1.5tsi 85KW Mhev. Her SW updated over the air but mine - not. For a whole year I've never received any OTA updates. https://photos.app.goo.gl/fiQ8f5r2cDhi2kp67 I'm the main user, there is no ingognito mode or whatever, everything is enabled and car communicates with APP, I even enabled additional ambient colours. But the SW never got updated. I went to Skoda for that and they told me they enabled the update but 2 months since then and still I have nothing :) Any ideas.
  2. So the question is what are the differences between those 2 engines that are put on Octavia, Golf and Leon facelifts since 2024 ? Just by looking at them they seem 100% the same, even the turbo size is the same. I can not find any information on internet. Thank you !
  3. omg. How will you clean it ? With dissasembly or via hydrogen clean or other method ?
  4. Is there any official info somewhere ? I know there is DADA engine which is 130hp and it has var.geom. turbo. But the normal DADA and DPC 150hp have normal turbo. The new DXD engine which my wife has 115hp MHEV has abs. no lag and I think it is var. geom turbo. But how about the DXD 150hp ?
  5. Do you know which 1.5TSI 150 engines have classic turbo and which have variable geometry turbo ?
  6. By the way : had someone ever mounted a blow off valve on 1.5TSI DADA engine? To share his thoughts how it behaves (ignore the sound). Does it really decrease the turbo lag on DADA engine ? I have a DADA and wonder if I mount a BOV... The biggest problem is where to get vacuum from. I have to drill a stutzer on the intake collector after the throttle body but this will destroy the guarantee. Some people talk for a "boost tap" for the MAP sensor, but I can't find such for 1.5TSI. There is for 1.4TSI but MAP sensors are different. With the rest it's an easy job - just take the hose pipe from DPCA engine - it has a 25mm stutzer and get a 25mm BOV and mount it there with a rubber tube. As I say only the vacuum is a problem and of course we need to know the effect. If there is no effect ...
  7. Hello everybody. Has anyone made the so called "Audi mod" or "Throttle mod" by coding the ENGINE ECU, byte 0 (Hersteller data) to Audi ? I read some topics that some had done this but had troubles with the Cruize Control. I also have the Cruize Control not working. Also get an error in the ABS module that the coding of Engine ECU is not correct: Address 03: ABS Brakes (J104) Labels: 5Q0-907-379-IPB-V1.clb Part No SW: 5Q0 614 517 EG HW: 5Q0 614 517 BQ Component: ESC H82 0107 Revision: 00000000 Serial number: 61429000000731 Coding: 24076A91202321724078060160C7242456048402600624722023F070D0024B0B0000000012121212B835351919323200 Shop #: WSC 73430 031 00000 ASAM Dataset: EV_Brake1UDSContiMK100IPB 038007 ROD: EV_Brake1UDSContiMK100IPB_038.rod VCID: 7AFB47EFFDDF505B8D-802E 1 Fault Found: 8314 - Check Coding of ECUs on Powertrain Data Bus P1647 00 [009] - - [New feature! 8. Whar is 034 Motorsport dogbone insert ?
  9. Hello all. The major difference between DADA and DPCA is the turbo. DPCA has a discharge valve (like on the old 1.4TSI CAXA, CAXB, CAXC). Where the excess charged air is bypassed back to the turbo intake for recharge. This reduces the turbo lag and the turbo stall (for example when engine is at 6000rpm and suddenly the throttle is set to 0%). It also increases the lifespan of the turbo module. In the DADA engine the lag and surge are somehow limited by never closing the throttle to 0% when there is a boost. In this way the excess compressed air is blowed off into the engine, instead of surging the turbo. The side effect is that the engine RPM fall down slowly.
