I checked mine last week and it seems it has never been serviced 🤣 unless it was don't independent from new.
Even if it was, a good independent would update the digital history
We always do 🤓

We can permanently fix this for you, and prevent any additional adblue issues. However I’d try get it dealt with via a warranty claim first
We’d also be happy to investigate the other issues you’re having

I am having often reported problems of electronics going wrong after a battery change. VAG specialist with excellent feedback says "Checked for battery management and the vehicle does not have this feature installed".
I have an Autophix 7610 scanner which says the vehicle is not equipped with a battery regulation system but to select "Gateway" to give battery information. I have tried that myself but the problems still persist.
Should I mention this to the garage in case their system can do better?
Your car 100% has a battery management system. The configuration for it is within the adaptations in the diagnostic gateway
It needs to know the battery type, capacity and a serial number

Does it seem to sit really high & feel really crashy? If so, it’s worth checking they haven’t left the transport blocks in place

thing is, the water pipe that is attached to the camera has a 3 way connector at the end of it, one male, one female, and one which is possibly female but has a loose red plug in it. I'm thinking that its is something to do with the ability to wash just the camera (theres a button to do that in the camera menu) I'm trying to find the oem part number of the camera they fitted atm, but struggling! I klnow it was an audi part, as i saw the box, but didnt think to get the part number before he buttoned the car back up 🤦♂️
If your car has a rear washer, and you've got a wash button on screen; the camera is incorrectly coded. The camera will be washed with the rear wiper so there's 0 need for the button. The button is for cars without a rear washer.
If your car doesn't have a rear wiper, then the above part isn't going to work for you as you'll need to run a hose to the washer bottle. We have them in stock, we can make them to any length. Do you know what length you need?

! @East_Yorkshire_Retrofits how did you/does one get the vin plate updated then. I had a retrofit Towbar for bikes but am keen to tow (legally)
The vehicles above were type approved for towing, so there weren’t any paperwork changes necessary
I believe there are a couple of companies who can help you though

Had no cables 😛 but have roadside support…
but I Will never make that mistanke again. And its certain I Will never use the “High voltage” battery to 0% again 😛
Im on hardware h55
display /controll hardware h44
if I recall correct…
The infotainment information is a drop in the ocean really. There's 20+ other control modules on the vehicle

wanted 50 € to test the 12 v battery.
went to my own mechanic, they tested v12 and high volt. No issues at all.
he said he saw plenty of error codes.
somehow he say issues with reverse camera, I don’t have any..
Control box, guessing it was MCU and campus communication issues.
No explanation as to why the car lost all power. Normally it turns of if I just leave the car for 10-15 sec. So don’t really understand how it could happen 😞
Something is way off with this car.
attaching software and hardware versions…
Again,
There's 20+ other control modules on the vehicle. They all have their own software

ACC is a licensed feature. We charge £1200 inc. VAT for an activation code for up to 8 features. You'd then require replacement stalks, trim and software changes

I have posted a pic of the park assist module (well thats where the park assist module should be) but a search says its a tow bar module.
The parking sensor control module is located in the drivers footwell next to the accelerator pedal as mentioned above
We’d be happy to take a look at this for you

It will take you hours to manually code it with VCDS
There are 6 adaptation channels for each colour, so 180 in total. That’s assuming your BCM supports 30 colours, it may need a software update first

It could be thousands of things. If you’re lucky, it’ll just be a software bug that’s easily fixed.
You'll need to perform a diagnostic scan

Dear all,
Car key reprogramming:
My Skoda Kodiaq with VIN number: REDACTED has an official key with code REDACTED.
I found this one to be expensive and ordered another from a dealer, paying a high price.
However, upon complete technical analysis, as I am a programmer myself, I found a second-hand key from a Kodiaq with VIN number: REDACTED, with key code: REDACTED AIF, featuring the same chip. I paid very little for this one.
Now, this REDACTED AIF key needs to be reset or, let's say, reformatted and reprogrammed to my car.
Is this possible remotely? It seems unlikely.
If it's possible, how and by whom? If not, why not?
If it is possible, what software and toolkit are needed for this chip?
Thank you.Aykut
You need to buy a new key partially pre programmed for your vehicle. It can then be adapted to the immobiliser using ODIS
The car won’t allow it to be adapted to the unless it already contains data related to it.

We can retrofit the factory LED headlights with the self levelling system. However for the price, it’s often more sense to buy one with them factory fit

Hello @Giannis20,
Since you already did some research, you might know what pin types are used in BCM connectors? Can you please share this kind of details?
I'm an interested to know for the Brake Pad Wear indicator retrofit which is not present on my car, T46B/PIN 12 especially.
Thank you

I'm sure it is. But am I correct in thinking that there is no piping for the camera washer if the rear wiper isn't installed? I thought the camera washer using the pipework for the rear window washer and is tapped in.
There's no piping for vehicles without a rear washer, however we keep genuine hose and fittings in stock as we connect the washer on cars with a rear wiper.

Yes, to on-screen functions. Brightness, gamma, and dynamic lines that move with the wheel all work as expected from OEM. Works in conjunction with my front and rear parking sensors, too.
My car doesn't have a rear wiper and, hence, no washer jet for the window, so the camera doesn't have a washer jet to clean. I clean my car pretty regularly, so this isn't a deal breaker for me personally.
Unless you're a dab hand at some plumbing I'm not sure any retrofitted will want to take that task on
Its easily done, just additional costs that most customers won’t want to pay

First push of the main beam stalk puts them into auto/matrix mode..... If you actually want the main beam on all the time you need to push the stalk forward a second time.

If it does, you cannot legally tow anything over 0kg 👀👀

If you send us your VIN we can see what's fitted and what options there are
Isa anyone on here in Scarborough that has a vds computer to clear codes from my octavia?
in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)

We’re in Bridlington 🙂
The codes will still be there until cleared, they’re stored for future diagnostic purposes. However as you’ll have noticed, they won’t affect anything
