Reversing camera fitting

There's no piping for vehicles without a rear washer, however we keep genuine hose and fittings in stock as we connect the washer on cars with a rear wiper. -

Its easily done, just additional costs that most customers won’t want to pay -

High Beam Control (Light Assist)
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to Veloist99's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
One thing I'm not yet sure of is how the software adaptation is carried out remotely after FoD activation What confuses me a little is HBA requires a different parameterisation file on the body control module compared to a vehicle without HBA. This alone isn't enough for the feature to work as it still requires the license in the gateway, but it's required along side the license I'd be interested in taking a look at a car before/after HBA purchase and see what's what -

It's nothing to do with the infotainment system so they shouldn't need to reset it It's licensed in the diagnostic gateway, and controlled via the windscreen camera and body control module -
Can I update my car software myself?
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to Dandesc's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
Your vehicle likely has around 30 control modules. Each one of them has it's own software The infotainment unit is just 1 of those control modules. (Technically 2, as the display has its own software). -

East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to Dandesc's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
You'll require both a telematics update and an infotainment update. The telematics update cannot be done DIY It's likely you have multiple other modules with outstanding updates We can carry all of the updates out and record them against the vehicles build info. -

Retrofit Kessy?
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to petecollier's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
If you have keyless start then keyless entry requires Door handle antennas (with wiring) Replacement KESSY control module Underbody antennas (with wiring) Software modifications ( not just coding) We've done the above a few times on MQBevo now -

KESSY isn't SWaP Does the car have keyless start? Otherwise keyless entry is a no go realistically -

It's likely your ADAS camera has an update outstanding. Also worth making sure your infotainment software & navigation data are up to date -
Heated Windshield
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to WhiskyJamJar's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
They don't use windscreens with wires on the Octavia, it's just a heated film in the middle. It's only the lower tier cars that get the visible elements now -
Auto light assistant
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to mangio85's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
It cannot be done without a valid license. Coding alone doesn't come close. Coding and parameterisation is half the job But still, without a valid license - no Bueno The cheapest option by far is to pay Skoda 🥲 -
Android Auto HUD directions reversed
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to kreeker's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
Have you had all of the many available software updates carried out? -
One of the units above is a complete infotainment unit (MEN3). The other is just a display, that requires a separate control unit mounted behind the dash above the glovebox (MOI3), Most Octavia's already have MOI3, your car is just poorly specced so has MEN3 The vehicle would require a new diagnostic gateway as it won't currently have DOIP. The infotainment unit in the glovebox would require adapting to suit the vehicle spec and component protection removal. The display itself will require component protection removal. You'll require an activation code for the diagnostic gateway, to allow the features on the infotainment system to function. We charge £1200 for 8 features. If you require more, it would be an additional £1200 for upto an additional 8. Please see the attached for the licensed features. You'd require additional wiring to relocate the infotainment system control module to the glovebox and to connect the control module to the display. You'd also require the ethernet wiring installing. That doesn't look like a factory camera, and it's almost the same price for the parts as it is for a factory spec camera supplied and fitted 🤮 -

If you can get the lights at a reasonable price, then go for it. They're the most expensive piece of the puzzle We can help RE installation -
Genuine rear camera installation
East_Yorkshire_Retrofits replied to stretchy's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
The infotainment system, diagnostic gateway and parking sensor control module will need to be recoded. The camera itself will require parameterisation, coding & calibration We charge £395 supplied and fitted, for a new genuine camera including an integrated washer system. The installation is performed using VWAG diagnostic equipment so the installation can be recorded against the cars build data, making it a permanent installation. It means future parts lookup will show the camera/correct handle and the camera may even affect future automated valuations. https://eastyorkshireretrofits.co.uk/products/highline-reverse-camera?_pos=5&_sid=14d3705f7&_ss=r
