Hi guys, I tried to find more info on this but I wasn't able. My friend is driving Octavia 2013 equipped with Bolero system, since he doesn't have navigation or bluetooth he ordered Amundsen (both display and main unit) I have VCDS, my question is it possible to just swap it (with some codding) or there are some additional steps? Thank you in advance for the answer.

That is what I will do, I compared first code from the readings and the last one. Found a difference in it. I changed maxidot to display vrs at the startup :D, so it might be standard behaviour for vrs.

@nickytheshaft the thing is that it used to show it before. Especially if you drive the car and turn on the CC, it used to show grey icon and --- next to it until I push SET button.

Hi all, Could someone help me with strange issue? I have Octavia mk3, 2013. All the sudden, when I activate CC (just the lever switch, without pushing SET button) it doesn't display --- until I set speed using the SET button. So if I drive the car with CC, forget to turn it off, next time I start the car it will only show mileage. I did played with VCDS and coded some other things, not sure if it is related or not. Anyways, if there is some coding for it (or another solution), please share so that I can test it. Thank you all in advance

Hi @Aitchuk what was the outcome? Looking to do the same thing and wondering is it just plug and play while swapping or something else should be done as well.

Hi, you just replaced main unit, left the old display? Was it just plug&play or it requires change on wiring as well? I was thinking to do the replacement myself if it doesn't require wiring change. Thank you in advance.
