So after 21 months of waiting, finally it's here. The car was ordered in august of 21.

So, after 20 months from the initial order, the unconfirmed build date was 12th week (this week). I have contacted dealer today, he said he has no news, however, he should have new information on monday. He was very optimistic, and he said that the car should be at dealership by the middle of the april. Are there news from factory?Something has changed? Why is he so optimistic? From my experience on this forum, unconfirmed date doesn't mean anything. i'm right? However i decided for myself, if there any further delay, i just cancel order

Yeah, i understand that, but car was ordered in august of 2021!!! They said inicial delivery date should be 6 to 8 months. 19 months have passed and still have no information, it's not IV or something, so i can't understand how this is even possible, the delivery date was shifted at least 3 times. It's such joke. So i'm interested is there any means to get any information.

Have anyone tried to contact factory? Are there any use of such actions? Because i have ordered car (1,5 tsi) 19 months ago, and i don't have any information whatsover, the latest build date was week 8, which have passed almost 2 weeks ago. Skoda is such piece of 💩 brand.

You have cancelled the order? Or the factory has? The latest news, my car was ordered in August of 21, had unconfirmed build date - 8th week of 2023, the 8th week have passed, and i didn't get any update.

I wish it would be true and i got my car in 18 months.

Actually there are plenty of us. Mine was ordered august 2021

It's seems that situation is getting worse, as Skoda further shortens production of octavias. That's way to go Skoda! 17 months after order and no information whatsoever. Here the link, it's seems pretty fresh news.

I think this esound module story is bs, my order was made 17 ago, and still no even unconfirmed build date, and it's not even hybrid .

That's just insane, simply insane. I ordered 1,5 tsi, dsg in august of 2021, and still don't have build date, I don't even think i will get it this year. I think i will buy another car and if someday i get Skoda i will sell it.

By hybrid do you mean plug-in hybrid? Or even e-tec? Which isn't really hybrid, but Škoda call it mild-hybrid.

It's sure seems to be the case, Škoda doesn't respect their clients nor worried about brand's image so i think their surely execute such policy.
