I think more or less realiastic delivery date is Q1 2023, because if there is no build date, it's bad news. I Ordered ir 21 august, build date is week 12 of 2023.

I agree, it can be option in short-term, however it's total nonsense in long term strategy, because Skoda want a loyal client, who will buy every new model, if you will ignore client who have ordered car I have doubt that they will choose again Skoda. And i think as big VW AG are, they want to play long-term game.

I hope you are lucky and you will get your car in time, however, then i will have even more questions how Škoda works, how queue is formed and organised, because my wait time a the moment is 7 months, and 12 more months to go. Btw where are from?

I talked with him in the beginning of February, he told me that expecting car in April, in beginning of the march, after fire I contacted him, and he told me, that because of fire, there will be delay, and then the war begun, they needed to do some additional paperwork with bank, so today he contacted me, and said because of fire and mostly of war, there are terrible delay, and in the system he saw, that car scheduled for 12 week in 2023. Sad story.

Well, dealer contacted me, because delivery day in contract was march 15, so he informed, that I should give up my hope to get the car this year, also he mentioned, that for the new clients ETA are from 18 to 24 months, which is insane. He said, that delay because of the war in Ukraine,i dunno is it true, however I've think it's related.

Well guys, look at the bright side, we will have plenty time to chat about our Skoda delivery

No, earlier this year, dealer informed me, that car scheduled for production and should be delivered in summer.

A little bit of additional information, friend of mine who ordered octy in May of 2021, was informed that car should be delivered in 2023, 5 week. Orginal delivery date was scheduled to october of 2021. I hope you guys more lucky than we are. Cause this wait time is just insane.

well, i think realistic ETA for orders made in 2021 is 2023 Q1 to Q3.

Yeah, just called VW no cars in stock, wait about 12 months, Renault told that no cars in stock wait about 9-12 months, Toyota...in stock only corolla sedan and the price is 30k Euros, if i had this information in august when i ordered skoda.

Yeah, it's insane. Octavia, 1.5 TSI MHEV, DSG-7, Ambition. Estimated delivery date was 2022 march 15, the dealer informed if i agree to wait, the price cannot be changed because contracted is singed. The car will be on leasing if i ever get car... so the actual owner is the bank, and the banked asked me if i'm willing to wait, because if i'm willing to wait it's okay with them, they just need to check my financial situation every 3 months. However i don't know what to do...the fixed price is okay, extra year to wait is not....Dealer said, that he gives 1% chance, that car will be delivered this year, he said that miracles sometimes happen....Maybe someone know what situation with other brands? What delivery time?

Today got update on my octy, dealer informed that car should be delievered in 2023 week 12, (car was ordered in 2021, August) so if it would be delivered in time the total wait will be 19 months. Good news that price is fixed and cannot be changed. How is the situacition with other brands?

Yeah, dimensions are same, so I really didn't get it, neither the dealer was able to explain what is the problem. ,,Pulsar Aero" are a bit expensive, needed to pay extra 200 euros,i don't think dealer trying to cheat, because he made pretty good discount, so its doesn't make sense.

I dunno, however he said, that factory informed him that M+S tyres can't be ordered with the rims I chose (Rotate Aero R17), so I needed to order ,,Pulsar Aero".

That indeed is very interesting, because I was contacted by my dealer in October, (car was ordered late august) and he said that the factory informed him, that the rims that I chose is not compatible with the M+S tyres, so he needed to change rims, however no information since then, well, I hope at least order was accepted by factory.

Yeah, but as they say in this and other articles, the cable problem is the main problem for the IV cars, and not word spoken about the regular cars, so i wonder does cable problem have impact on the petrol or diesel car production?

Friend ordered T-Cross 5 months ago, and already have it... Same here, I've planned to go on a little road trip in summer, now i see that i will be lucky if i get car next year. Additionally no stock octavia in Lithuania. I knew i had to choose other brand.

I think delay because of fire will be at least 3-4 months, today my dealer contacted me and told me, that the car which I was promised to get in April (lol, I don't think I would get that even if there weren't any fire) I will get probably in autumn, so that will make 12-13 months wait at least.

You are right, however i think that dealer must provide more or less (+-2 or 3 months) accurate information on the delivery time. Because when you are told that delivery time approx 6-8 months, and you're forced to wait 1year +, it's actually very sad.

Well yes, i think you are right, actually my car ir very basic, 1,5 tsi mhev, dsg, ambition with the few basic options, and the wait time will be at least 9-10 months, i think it's more up to luck, than actual car package
