Well, as far as i know there are no official information about facelift, so in my opinion all information regarding the facelift date are speculations. It would be funny, thought if they release facelift in 2023, honestly, i can't imagine how can they manage production of new parts, without even bigger delays. As situation is, in my opinion it would be clever to produce cars without facelift,but it is Skoda, so who knows.

I'm also thinking about that, because Skoda managment is just disgusting. Almost year of wait and still no information, i talked with KIA yeasterday they told me, if i order in July, the car should be delivered in the beggining of 2023. However, i don't know is it true, because Skoda told me that wait will be about 6 to 8 months in worst case scenario

Called my dealer today, he told me, that he doesn't have any news, however judging from his perspective i shouldn't have any hopes to get car this year, because in the system production date changes every other week, and as he told me,till there no VIN number the production date actually doesn't mean anything. So car ordered in august 21, so 11 months of wait, and still no information, way to go Skoda.

Isn't facelift mean, that there will be some new parts? Headlights for example, like in the past generation. Based on my experience with Škoda, i don't see a way, how they can manage production of new parts without bigger delays, so maybe they will postpone facelift?

Well, i think chances are pretty big, i think you should get your car early next year, however it's only my speculation, because Skoda has no logic. As my dealer told me, average wait time now from 12 to 18 months, however i can't tell is it true because i think he's specilating as well

This is crazy you getting VINs and production dates, i ordered in august of 21, and still have zero information 🙈🙈🙈 i think this will be my first and last Skoda.

Are there written the reason of reduction? Door panels, harness or something else?

Wow, those delivery date are just crazy. I ordered in 21 August, first delivery date was 2022 march 15, then it was moved to 5 week of 2023, and then date was deleted. I really afraid to call dealer 😃

Maybe someone can explain me, what's the difference between 2022 ans 2023 MY?

Just called my dealer, he told me that the factory promised to finish this year all cars that have been ordered in 2021. However he said, that he is not guaranteeed, that is true, because he said that factory have two major problems, doors and harness.

I saw the news, that harness production is online, and they are doubling the production. That reason for tsi ir actually very interesting.

Can you order DSG-7, 1,5 TSI, without MHEV? Because here only petrol engine avalaible without MHEV is 2.0 TSI, and all other pertrol engines are MHEV.

Well, i have none of them, and wait time is still at least 19 months,i think Skoda have bad management, and this is main reason of such chaos.

1,5 TSI MHEV, DSG, ambition, basic stuff actually. Exactly, if he told me that i have to wait 6 to 8 months, and it would be two or three months delay, i would said ok, stuff happens. But hell 18, and you know, i have doubts it will be only 18

Yeah. I also was promised 6 to 8, and now it will be at least 18 months...so that's is the only reason why i haven't canceled order. Because I'm afraid that other brand can have the same problems.

Well friend of my ordered Toyota, ch-r Hybrid, he had to wait just 1 month, so it seem Toyota doesn't have such problems. I'm already waiting 9 months and at least 10 months ahead, thinking about cancelling order and go for KIA instead, they promise 6 to 9 months wait time.

But what are main reason for delays now? Semiconductors shortage? Because Skoda said main reason is war in Ukraine and harness shortage, however i saw news that harness factories work full power and doubles production, door panels are also in production. So what's problem ? O Škoda's terrible management? Because other brands have some problems but not like this...

That's crazy, how can this be true? I mean 2019 is just unthinkable. I'm hoping that's some kind of mistake. Because i have doubts that i will receive car next year...

That seems to be true, because i ordered my car in 21 august, just like you, however my estimated wait time is 19 months, i don't have VIN number or any specific information, only prelimanary build week. Well, i think if i ever get car, this will be my last experience with Skoda or VAG. Already cursed that day when decided to order Skoda

Dealer said, that he can give weekly update only when car is in production, until then he gave only production week. In my case order is 21 august, production date 5 week of 23, so expect to get weekly update in year 2023

Wooohom, and i thougth that my 19 months wait is long With such news i get really pesimistic and i think i will not have car even the next year.

Well,i just wish they have told me in the beggining, that the delivery time will be about 18-20 months,i would just go for other brand. However i've been told, that delivery time is 6 to 8 months, now that i waited for 8-9 months, to cancel order isn't good idead, because i still have old price, and if i order other brand the wait time is from 6 to 12 months. It is just sad...

Today got email from dealer, he informed me that my car production is planned on 5 week of 2023 (Car ordered in 2021 august) . Also he attached letter from Skoda, where they are explaining that great delays are because of war, and because they stopped factories in Russia. I don't really understand what impact Russian's factories have on EU market, because as far as i know Russian cars only for Russian market, or i'm wrong? So total estimated wait time is 19 months (because dealer said that if everything okay, car should be delivered in march) hoooray.
