I pretty much in the same situation, i have pretty nice deal, however after 16 months i don't have any information at all. And i also have doubts should i drop the wait or continue this absurd. One thing i know for sure, i will never buy Škoda again. My last two cars were BMWs, and the customer experience is in different dimension,the dealer is polite and very supportive, well i think that the of the reasons why there are such difference in price.

Yeah, i wonder if importer change have any impact on the delivery date, because the only thing that has changed is pricelist. Earlier there was different packs of equipment (active,ambition, style) and now there are only Elegance and VRS, and surely prices went up.

Has anyone tried to get in touch with main Škoda office and not local dealer? Because there are email adress (*****@*****.tld) on Škoda international webpage. Did they provide any additional information? Because i'm already waiting for 16 months and i don't have any information. Škoda is really worst brand, terrible consumer experience, i will never ever buy this piece of 💩 again. Really frustraiting.

Called dealer today, he said that this week factory is on vacation, do you have any information is this even true? He said there are no delivery date yet. Maybe it worth contact some higher Škoda officials and require information? Because it's some kind of nonsense, the car was ordered in august of 2021.

Funny thing, i have checked the dealer's webpage and they have totally changed the pricelist. Not only that prices went up, now there is only one pack avalaible - elegance. No ambition, no active. It's third time this year that they change pricelist.

Hell, i knew i should go for Cupra, but decided to save some money and go for Skoda, that was really a big mistake. Talked today with KIA dealer, they told me the wait time is 6 to 9 months for new car, and there a lot of car in stock...Called today my dealer, still no information on build date. 16 months waiting and still no build date.

Škoda at it's best. However situation with petrol or diesel also terrible. So either way it's terrible consumer experience.

That will be very great scenario,but i don't think it is possible, because its iV. I think in best case scenario you will get car by the end of the year, but most likely in the start of 24. I ordered in 2021 and still no information.

I know no one can say for sure but i'm interested in your opinion. What do you think is it possible to get car by summer of 2023. Car ordered in august of 2021. Because in may i should give my current car and that's a really big headache.

Yeah, the dealer told me, that recently factory have deleted many orders, and there are no specific dates. I'm starting to think that factory act like this on purpose, pushing back cars that was ordered long time ago, because it's much cheaper. Maybe Skoda hopes we will cancel the order. I'm currently waiting 15 months, and still no build date. I promised my self to wait and get this car, but never again buy Skoda or any VAG's brand.

I have called dealer today, so here the news. I had preliminary build date - 9th week of 2023. Now he told me, that the build date was deleted, and same situation are with all Octavias. Also he told me, that situation got worse, and he can't provide any information whatsoever. The car was ordered in the August of 2021. Now i can tell, that Škoda is really piece of 💩. And i will never, ever again buy Škoda.

Not confirmed, last time it was 5 week of 2023, and now the week 9. So i think the date might and probably will change. Friend of mine is waiting about 20 months at the moment, so further delays wouldn't be big surprise.

Hell, gas is also my concern, i think it could be next big excuse. However, i've been waiting for 13 months, and now build date is 9 week of 2023, i'm curiuos will be there more delays.

To be honest , as the things go i have doubts that i will get car before summer. But let's hope for the best.

I have visited my dealer today, we checked the system and production date is set to 9 week of 2023, so if it goes according to schedule and i 'm luck lol, i should get the car by the end of march. What is really crazy. Car was ordered in august of 2021. So total delivery time will be approx 19 months.

But this doesn't apply to mhev?

Ordered in the August of 2021, no delivery date or any information whatsoever.so you not alone. Promised myself, that this is my first and last Škoda. Terrible experience.

Mhev, here it is only possible option of 1,5 TSI with DSG. As far as i see cars in the city with same engines i see e-tec label.

Today i'm celebrating first year of waiting, called my dealer, he told me, that there are no confirmed production date, so he can't tell me when the car will be produced, he told me if i'm lucky, i will get car in the beggining of the next year, and that will be approx 18 months of waiting. Also he told me, that factory on vacation.

Most likely you will have to wait at least 13-14, because there some problems with iV and also most of us have like 12 months wait, so i don't think you will be exception. 😅 and as things go, i can't tell that Skoda learned their lessons and production is getting better.

Hell, i feel you, both situations really suck. After a year I'm also losing hope...

Hell. I see all those posts about delivery almost after year wait And feel i feel happy for you and really sad for myself. I ordered car year ago, and still do not have even build date. Are here more people like me, who wait 1 year and more and doesn't have build date?

Are there more information regarding mhev engines? About production problems?

Well, i ordered 1,5 tsi, with basic specs, 11 months ago, still not even estimated date, friend of mine ordered octavia with a lot of specs 18 months ago, and still no date. So it's mostly lottery.

So if i understand correctly there are problem with IV, and PHEV. And what about MHEV engines? Also, soon i will celebrate my first year of waiting
