  1. Mine is also in the country! Being delivered a week on Monday.
  2. Looks like the rumours of them sorting the backlog appear to be true! I've just spoken with the dealer and its looking like good news! The car is now built (finally) and currently en-route from the factory to the EU port, should be with the dealer in around 5 weeks time!
  3. The dealer has advised that a provisional build date has been provided of week 24 - w/c 13/06/2022.
  4. I don't think it's necessarily leases, lots of them I'm seeing are linked to D. M. Keith ŠKODA Leeds and they are fleet orders so likely the lowest priority.
  5. I've just fired off my usual monthly whats happening email to the lease company. Last I heard I had a provisional build date of 27th of this month but I had one for May that slipped so I'll not hold my breath.
  6. Go figure, I ordered an identical car in Feb 2021. That means It's complete incompetence or intentional delays to avoid losses on orders placed before the price hikes. Either way it doesn't look good on Skoda.
  7. What colour did you go for? At this point I'm wondering if they've run out of black paint as its the only excuse they have left.
  8. Yeah its crazy, but if fuel prices keep going the way they are then this could well be my last ICE anyway 😂 my Octavia does around 50-55 mpg but I reckon I'm probably looking at 35-40 for the bear. Oh and they didn't mention a year in the update but I'm being optimistic and assuming they mean 22
  9. I just had an update! Apparently I have a provisional build date of w/c 27/06 along with the standard skinchies clauses incase it all goes tits. So that'll be over 17 months from the point of order to build if it actually goes ahead 🤞
  10. Identical spec and colour to mine ordered 6 months earlier and I still don't have a build week, as I've said previously there isn't any sort of conspiracy it just seems that Skoda are totally incompetent.
  11. It's a lease according to the post. Skoda at this point don't appear to have some sort of secret genius plan, They are "Simply Incompetent".
  12. I've still not had an update from the broker/dealer but i have seen over on facebook someone who ordered the exact same spec/colour 6 months after me has got confirmation the car is built and being shipped which really takes the ****.
  13. I've made that suggestion to the dealership and asked them to raise it with the factory to get confirmation that there isn't an issue with the order system. Will see what happens.
  14. This is the latest from the dealership. "Builds were taken off by SKODA last year and never replaced. Been sat with no build assigned since. Unfortunately all Kodiaq Sportline in our order bank are in the same position. Unknown ETA at the moment with very little information on when they will be built" I've asked them to escalate it so will see what happens. What's worrying is that they don't seem to be in the slightest bit alarmed that a bunch of orders got removed and have then had no movement for 6 months, like its just totally normal for orders to dissapear into a black hole while newer orders are being fulfilled. I suspect they are in on it and have no faith in a resolution but i can but try.
  15. This is true, prior to them having their tongues cut out Skoda chat confirmed that the order had been switched over to a facelift model.
