Unknown issue with AdBlue
Just got an error yesterday that the "Start will be impossible in 1000km" due to the amount of AdBlue. I was sure I had many more kilometers to go before I had to. change it. Looked under the hood and found this issue. Will take it to my mechanic ASAP. In the meantime can anyone tell me how bad this is on my Skoda Superb 2016? I assume driving the car in this state is not advised.

Power socket is broken
Hello, I am the second owner of the Superb L&K and upon closer inspection the power socket in the back is broken. The USB charger (in the back) works fine though My wife tried plugging in her laptop but the socket itself seems (from behind the outlet) to have fallen down inside the console. I will take it to the local car electrician but I want to know if this kind of repair is viable. Did anyone else have this issue? Thanks for your answer in advance.

Gearbox/ transmission overheated light on
Went to another city and drove just a little bit more aggressive (I usually drive slow up to 50 km/h) I have a DSG automatic transmission. When it was in the 3rd gear I could hear a bit more noise coming from the transmission, but it would go away when it was switching to higher gear. The transmission overheated light came on. Should I take it to the local garage and see if theres something wrong?

Exhaust emissions control system light on.
I'm getting the same exhaust control system light issue. Did the glow plug error show up on the tester ? I will take it to the local garage and see if it's the same case.

Central locking problem
The timeline of this issue is as follows: 1. Went to the local Skoda dealer and told them I have an issue with the car locking itself 2. They fixed the wiring in the driver's side door loom - car locked itself much much less frequently (only a handful of times) 3. Spilled coffee on the locking button in the console - car started to lock itself even more frequently 4. Replaced button - frequency of car locking itself decreased 5. Problem still persists with the car locking itself.

Central locking problem
Thank you! Yes, I guess you might be right. Unfortunately I cannot find anyone knowledgeable about the wiring in the doors that can help me. (I already looked around for that) Can you tell me a solution? Perhaps I can look for an expert if I would know what to ask for.

Central locking problem
Hello, I spilled coffee on the button for locking/unlocking all the doors from the central console. Afterwards car locked itself randomly during driving. I replaced the button (5J0962125) and cleaned the area underneath it slightly. This partially remedied the problem, but the car still locks itself from time to time (for example: when there are bumps in the road). Do you recommend replacing the part under the button ? If so, what is the part called and what is its part number? I looked online for central locking mechanism in the Skoda Fabia II hatchback (2008) console but I can't find anything except for the actual locks for the doors (which I don't think I need to change). Let me know if you have any insight or solutions to this problem. Thank you!

Skoda Superb automatically switched to S instead of D on the display
The previous owner gave me all the papers from all the servicing that was done on this car including DWG serviced Oil Changes. I will look through them again to be absolutely sure. Thanks

Skoda Superb automatically switched to S instead of D on the display
It may be I did it by accident. Does Skoda Superb have the option of switching gears automatically even if it's in S mode ?

I have an L&K Skoda Superb with a 6 gear DSG

Skoda Superb automatically switched to S instead of D on the display
The DSG has been serviced correctly to my knowledge by the previous owner also. I've only just bought it but it has been serviced right before that. I am pretty sure I haven't moved the shifter to S rather than it being in D. Small questions here: if I had shifted to S rather than D by accident how is it I didn't have to use the paddles to shift gears ?

Skoda Superb automatically switched to S instead of D on the display
Hello, Quick background: I was driving in the rain today when the display next to the speedometer showed me the outside temperature message. Afterwards I noticed on the screen that it showed S3 instead of D3: the gears were still shifted automatically, I didn't have to use the paddles. I noticed the gears were shifting whenever it reached around 3000 rpm. I looked in the manual for this but I can't find anything. What feature is this, what is the difference from normal speeds (like D1 D2 D3 D4 etc.) and how is it triggered?

Adjustable headlights on Skoda Superb L&K
Thanks for your answer. I already scheduled my fix using the OBD11 at a specialist. I will go in the coming weeks. So you didn't have to do any software update to sort the headlights adjustment ?

Thanks for your answer 😊 Do you know of any possible issues with this update? I will go to the Skoda dealership to see how much it would cost and if they can do it.

Adjustable headlights on Skoda Superb L&K
Hello, this is my first post I recently bought a used Skoda Superb L&K 2016 (2017) model. It even has DYNAMIC HEADLIGHT RANGE CONTROL, WITH CORNERING LIGHT (AFS 1). It's a really nice feature which lights up on the left or right based on the direction of steering. My question is if the Skoda Superb has adjustable low beam light so I can see slightly further in front when driving on an unlit country road at night. If so how can I adjust it ? The current orientation of the low beam lights only allows a very limited field of view of the road in front (max. 5-7 meters) I know I can just switch to high beam light and then switch back to low beam light whenever I encounter another vehicle from the opposite direction. However I know of older cars that had a mechanical switch to adjust the low beam light direction so the driver could see slightly further on the road. Thanks

Are secondhand prices dropping?
Found a good offer and bought a used superb very recently. I don't care about the market at this point. I just followed my instinct and went ahead and bought it. Hopefully the market will get back to a normal soon
