  1. Also using the BlackVue. Not cheap but very pleased with it. Hooks up to phone easily. They have an Outlet store on eBay where I got a refurbed one from with quite a good chunk off. Hard wired it into the FuseBox.
  2. Hi, Did you use the BlackVue's Battery management feature? Mine seems to run the battery flat, maybe I've got it set wrong? TX
  3. Cool, presumably you just kept the files names the same and edited the PNG files?
  4. They do indeed. I waited and got a refurbished one from their UK Agent's eBay Shop. A little over £300 and it's mint. 🙂
  5. Also have a Blackvue 900x Dual Channel. Wires go through the headlining on the passenger side to the rear camera. No DAB problem at all.
  6. Owned my 2016 Superb L&K 190 for 3 weeks now, loving it... Except for a really annoying persistent squeak on the driver's side seemingly behind the dash somewhere. It's worse at lower revs and when the engines under load and dissappears if I back off the accelerator. It seems to be mid height rather than at the top of the dash or lower down at pedal level. Any ideas on what it could be or how to track it down? Putting my ear down in the footwell whilst driving would probably be ideal but I think I'll skip that option! Tx.
  7. There's been an advert pop up in my Facebook feed for an Easter offer for OBDEleven. I've just got a 2016 Superb L&K DSG 190. I've not had time to do a deep dive through all of the settings menus but it seems like the many of options on the OBDEleven module are already available through my car's settings. Aside from clearing fault codes and (I think) the ability to turn the engine start stop off what else is (or isn't) worth it that I don't already have?
  8. Looked at a lot of photos of Skoda's Brown seats last night. Try as I might, I couldn't bring myself to like them. Pity as the car I was looking at ticked all of the other boxes. I realise that this is a personal taste thing and others may love them. The search continues.
  9. I'm on a couple of Facebook car groups and there's a feeling that there's a start of 2nd hand prices starting to drop. I've not noticed this on Skodas, at least the higher spec Superbs that I'm looking at. What do you all think? But now (if I can find the spec I want) or wait a few weeks/months? *typo, "buy now"
  10. Just texted the Dealer with your question, (thanks btw) and quickly had a message back saying that the Haldex has been done once and that they'd do it again before it went out.
  11. Currently running a 2012 SLK 350 AMG line as my daily. Going to be doing a lot of South Devon to Isle of Skye and return trips (700miles each way) and I'm looking for something roomier and more economical! I like my tech toys and and having had and enjoyed an SLK with lots of extras, I'm not wanting to do with out these hence narrowing down on the L&K (though an executive isn't out of the running). I'm guessing the TDi engine is the top one to go for and the 4WD version would be ideal as in winter, part of the route over Rannoch Moor and through Glen Coe does suffer from Winter conditions. Saw a 2016 car online with just shy of 72k miles and FSH for just under £19k. It's a TDi DSG Auto with 4WD, Tow Bar, TV tuner and much more, but it had brown leather seats...) Higher mileage (with a service record doesn't scare me as much as it used to. I checked the MOT history and it had passed every time with no advisories. Auto Trader says it's a 'great price' but is it? I know 2nd hand is more than it was. Happy to pay a fair price for what ever I'm buying but I don't have the money to throw needlessly. So my big question is are the brown leather seats nicer in real life than in photos? It's a long way to travel to see it if they're not good. I know it's down to personal taste but... Anything else I need to think about? Thanks.
