  1. Hi, Things sorted! Pump replaced with ORIGINAL one and no warning light on the dashboard. Some parts of skoda needs to be original.
  2. Hi ApertureS. They check it and change the pump but not original. The fault code at first was P16C7. When they replaced it the code came out as P16CB supply voltage!
  3. Hi everyone! Fault code P16C7 (heater support pump) appeared few weeks ago. Got it replaced but when I hot it out from the garage warning light appeared onbthe dashboard Got it checked and fault code P16CB found, heater support pump supply voltage. What does it mean? Can anyone please help me? Thanks
  4. Hi guys, I know this is an old post but I have the same issue and it just today. I went to a local garage with a diagnostic report heater pump fault. He erased the fault and it the engine warning light went off after 3 hours. When I parked the car and engine off for about 20 minutes and turned the ignition On, the warning light is gone but it's back again after 30-45 minutes after. So I went home drove the car jaut over an hour and checked with OBII code reader, it shows P16C7!!! My BIG question is, IS IT STILL SAFE TO DRIVE the car(skoda octavia 2017 1.6 DSG)either long or short journey? Highly appreciate if someone can reply ASAP before I drive more and wreck the car!
  5. Hi hozz, It's constantly being used when I'm I'm Dublin coz I do used my car as a taxi 2-3 Γ— a week
  6. Hi Hozz, I'm Driving the car 3-4 days a week with over 190kms per day. Almost 1k a week..
  7. I've watch a video on YouTube from Tech Automotive, he just changed the chip or circuit under the gear stick with same problem. https://youtu.be/qb0MkXR5-Dw
  8. Hi Facet, I greatly appreciate your response. Is it OK to call or write to them? What will I ask? I would appreciate if you can help me with this. Again, big thanks!
  9. hi facet, I know this is and old post but I'm getting the same warning 3x but goes away after few seconds . 1 yoday and 1 yesterday, the 1st one was few months back. did skoda say what was the problem? my deodar has run out of warranty.
  10. Thanks Gerry for the post. I had the same problem last year which is worst. I sent it to the dealer just before the warranty expires. They advised me to leave the tank below quarter emptied for the additives to work. I added 1/2 redex system cleaner( 125ml) and I can see the difference when I started the car this morning. The pick up or power and the engine sound is way better.. just hoping for the best.
  11. @roottoot. So you can actually use any brand of injector cleaner? Would you have one in mind? My car has no smoke, it's just the jerking or chugging on a cold start. I hope it's just dirt. I'll try redex or mannol
  12. Hi fr1nklyn. I'm a bit hesitant to add one. I checked it with obd and not showing any codes.
  13. @generalpurpose would you recommend Forte on 2017 skoda octavia 1.6 diesel? just want to be sure before buying or adding it to the tank😁. ratio additive to diesel fuel?
