  1. Finally got the fault repaired turned out the wiper motor had seized. Removed motor plenty of WD40 and working again. Decided though to get rid of the car.
  2. Fuse 10 is fine the rear wiper & screen wash are working fine so power is getting through to ther stalk. Thanks for the suggestion
  3. Hi No I checked 26 & 44 front & rear wipers What is fuse 10 for?
  4. Hi guys back with more problems unfortunately. I don't know if thesee faults are related in anyway. 1st the drivers door window has started to only work intermitantly I know it isn't the wiring as this was checked repaired not long ago & a different motor fitted (Thanks Pete ) 2nd yesterday I went to use my front wipers and nothing happened which was unfortunate as I was driving and had just sprayed the screen. The screen wash is working (obviously) and the rear wiper is working. I have checked the fuse and that is fine. Does any one have any suggestions as to what could be causing the problems & how to repair them myself cheaply. Cheers Jim
  5. Now sorted found one to fit on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115033366604?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 He has quite a range of different wheel nut keys if any one else finds they need one. Thanks for all the replies
  6. Cheers Pete coming to the rescue again
  7. Unfortunately there is nothing written down
  8. Hi Guys Just had the car in for its mot & service & they couldn't find the wheel nut key. The last time it was used was at the garage last year when they did the mot & service, which I told them but they said they put it back. Any way I now have no key after doing a full search of the car. Does anyone know which key it is by looking at the attached photo. Any help appreciated. Cheers Jim
  9. It looks like the wiring problem is getting worse with the window nolonger working with the key 😞 I am going to search online to see how cheap I can find a new full harness for the door.
  10. Just checked it again & the windows are nolonger working when I hold the key in the open position in the lock.(they did work a couple of days ago) I dont know the part number for the window module as I havbent had chance to remove the door panel. Yes it is the 2012 fabia mentioned in my profile.
  11. I do know though that the motor works by operating it with the key in the door. The window goes up & down depending on how I turn the key. So would I be right in assuming the the thick red/wite/yellow & the thick brown cables are fine.
