I have a problem 😅 That little can that's used on the aee for emissions I think and for the cabin not to smell like gasoline can't be connected the same way with the AFH Do you know what should I do to stop the smell inside. It's supposed to get worse in the summer and it doesn't bother me that much but ladies don't agree 😅😅

hey guys! Finally done Still got a long way to go to get the car perfect but were getting there! engine and brakes are in, next some minor things to fix such as a proper job of insulating the windscreen and all the locks and starter key thing needs fixing too. then ill refurbish the suspension and lower it slightly (30mm) here are some pics. We built the engine mount different than on the original post to keep the belt cover intact.. also didnt need to change the radiator spot because of it.

I cant seem to find the springs you saw as an option. can you link? Also where did you manage to get the alloy top mounts?

I just want to lower it slightly... with the ebay springs 35mm/30mm front and rear and im getting KYB premium shock absorvers and all the rubbers and mounting stuff I can get to give the FUN a new ride on the road ( this was my plan ) so should I go for them? cant find anything else on the market without following the coilover route of some other topic here in the forum with GOLF and FOCUS coilovers I think

Hey guys! I will post when its in the road. I dont think ill be able to find a 1.3 box since no cars were sold in portugal with that engine I think. Im going for the sleeper look under the bonnet with the original cover if i can manage to put it there and the original air filter box since i didnt find the one from the AFH and I already have a KN filter on mine (the air here is pretty clean so no worries about that filter) Thanks for your help and opinions.. Some said that they are too thin and not supportive enough (not reviews of these but same brand for other car, no a soul made a review of these) and so im apprehensive about buying them without this forum opinion. anyone can give me some feedback

Hey Im looking for more power on my Fun, its a 1.6. Granted I dont understand much of the technical stuff mentioned here but I know I have most of the parts I since its a 1.6 right? I dont think I can buy 2 engines to make this build (to expensive) so my question is what engine is the most straight forward swap? If I buy the AFH I on only need to build the mount right? If I buy the AVY stuff gets more complicated because of the IMMO right? Sorry but this topic got way to complex

Cant seem to figure out how to remove the side gloveboxes. the left one has something lose on the inside and does not close anymore can anyone help?

Hey R_Blue been looking into that ECU thing, found that polo ACE chips could run this engine but they are not available anymore... next route could be a megasquirtsince carbs could make the car fail inspection here in Portugal does anyone have any other stuff to add on the topic? i know that mods on this engine are not economically viable but still would like to get more info to make a good choice. hello Skodians Im a fairly new owner of a felly Fun and looking to do some mods! Im in the works of the front brake upgrade and now im looking at improving suspension and engine. From what I understand from research mainly on VW forums the cheapest and most cost effective mods for my engine are bike throttle bodies a 4-2-1 manifold and 268 cams. I was thinking of doing the cams and exhaust since the TB is pretty visible (?) and will probably make the car fail inspection. My questions are: The manifolds sold (on ebay) for Polos 6N with the same engine fit under the fellys hood and I only have to mod the exhaust from there on or they dont fit at all? Is anyone here experienced with a cam swap on this engine? Does anyone know if HP suspension on any other brand still make coilovers for it? Stock dampers are pretty expensive and hard to get so it might be worth it, also lowering springs are shipped from UK so they get more expensive to import ATM All the opinions are welcome since this is a fairly new subject for me and theres not that much information online on modding this engine especially on a Fun TY
