Radar bracket
Hi all, just a bit of advice needed if anyone can help. My bracket for my radar on my 2016 2.0tdi technology superb has broken on two of the arms. Searching on ebay and it shows ones for passat b8, are these compatible with my car? The radar has the same part number as the passat one. Just wanted to double check before ordering. Thank you in advance

hesitant and uneven start
Hi, mine's still the original battery. We just replaced the wifes battery on her 1.6 golf which is 6 years older but has an identical one to mine. Her symptoms were consistent though so I was positive that it needed changing. Just strange why it's fine one day, knackered the next. I've ordered a new battery to cover all bases, just wondered if anyone else had had similar issue and it turned out it was something else. Thanks for the replies guys 👍

hesitant and uneven start
Hi guys, having an issue with my 2016 2.0tdi Superb Mk3 and after some advice. For a couple of months the car sometimes has had periodic trouble starting, takes a while to fire after cranking for what can be up to 5-6 seconds. Other times it starts up straight away, no issue at all. I stalled this morning and it would not start at all. Plugged in my jump pack and fired straight up, no problem. Drove home about 1/4 mile away and turned off ignition. I then tried to cycle the ignition four times and not a problem, started everytime. Does this point to a bad battery seeing as my jump pack starts it? or could it be something more sinister due to the fault occuring so random?? I do 60 mile journeys daily so the battery should be getting a decent charge. I have had it where the car has been sat overnight, starts fine, drive to work, sits for 12 hours, struggles to start. It's very uneven which is driving me potty lol Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated

Rear shocks question
I'll definitely pop in the branch I purchased them and make them aware of the issue so it won't affect anyone else. Thank you so much for the help and advice, top guys 👍👍👍

Rear shocks question
Thanks for that Pete, do you think it's safe to keep using the ones I've installed and just replace them with the correct ones when they fail?

Rear shocks question

Rear shocks question
Here is my vin. What's the worst that can happen if they're incorrect? Wear out faster?? The car drives normal so far

Rear shocks question
And why would eurocarparts list it as suitable for my vehicle if its not compatible?

Rear shocks question
Thanks for the response, could it be that the original shocks I took off were incorrect for model? What are the issues with keeping the Monroe ones installed?
-
Rear shocks question
As I went to eurocarparts for the shocks, and they were listed against my reg I went with the Monroes. It was only when taking off the old ones to refit the new ones that I could see the oem number. My question still stands, will I have any adverse effect using the ones I have fitted?

Rear shocks question
My apologies, I don't know how I've ended up in the octavia section 😔 I have a superb mk3 2.0 technology spec. The shocks I've removed appear to be labelled as coming from the Octavia model and not the superb. At least this is what it seems like looking around. I will look for my vin tomorrow in the daylight. Thanks all for at least reading. Can someone with more experience move this to the Superb subsection?

Rear shocks question
Thanks for the reply JR, the oem number I wrote is definitely a VAG one, but it looks like it belongs to the Octavia model when I've searched on google. I've uploaded the one I took off. I just want to make sure that there's no problem with the set I've put on

Rear shocks question
Hi all, bit of advice needed if anyone can enlighten me. I've had to replace my rear shocks on my skoda superb mk3 2.0 tdi technology, absolutely shot, I purchased some Monroe from euro car parts which I have fitted without issue. My question is that I can now see the original oem number on my old ones and it appears that Monroe don't make shocks that match up, have I made a big error? Oem was 3q0512011hd Monroe I fitted were 376195sp The car has driven fine today over our lovely British roads lol Any advice is warmly welcomed 👍

Superb Mk3 Memory seat issue
That would mean a trip to the local dealer doesn't it? Are they the only ones who can perform updates??

Superb Mk3 Memory seat issue
Hi, thanks for the prompt reply. I have used vcds to go into basic settings, I can't reset to factory settings, I can reset standardization and when I select the third option "norming" the seat goes through all the motions. Afterwards I end up with 3 fault codes, 2 related to lumbar, the other to "no basic setting". I heard no bongs or beeps to indicate the seat had reset. Is there anything else I can try at home?

Superb Mk3 Memory seat issue
Good morning, long time reader first time poster. I've used this forum for any bits of information I've needed since I purchased my superb a year ago but there's one issue I haven't been able to cure, the drivers memory seat! I've read several of the posts explaining how to reset the seat but I have no joy with anything I do in regards to moving it. I have used vcds and get 6 faults corresponding to missing calibration/basic setting on all the different parts of the seat that move. Am I just being really thick and doing something wrong or is it going to be a main dealer jobby? Many thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer me
