Hi. Need help as well. Got a genuine sviwel towbar installed myself skoda superb mk3 2016 se 150hp). I have bought the trailer control unit separately ( 5Q0907383N). I was doing coding using vcds. All was good until i connected the caravan and trailer.. The porblem ia thta the lights are not working properly. Right turning light not working at all.. Left works with the brake at the same time.. I thought as it is aplug and play (my car was trailer prepared so all the connection was at the nack of the car already) then i shouldn't have a problem. My question is : do i have to reprogram the control unit to make the lights to work properly? Or there most likely will be a trailer to control unit wire that is not broke or not connected properly. Thanks.. I didn't wire anything as was juat plug and pay for me (2 connection outlet from the car fuse to the control unit and 2 from the trailer to control unit

Tried few.. Even the one wich worrked before.. Everything atarted after updating the mib. Maybe there was kind of license wich was void?

After uldaring the maps and the mib the android auto doesn't work anymore.. It is activated intk the 5f controller.. Any idea? Thanks

I have go I have got the genuine swivel tow bar but only towbar wihtout the control unit. The car is towing prepared ao npw need just the control unit as everything else is ready. As well to mention it is manual not electric one.. Do you have an idea which ateps i have to follow to parametrise it.. As i have the liat of coding needed after that.. But mt concern eas the control unit if it is from a different car brand (seat/audi). Thanks

The biggest problem ia i cant find one special for skoda and seen exactly the same one for seat/vw.. My question is will it work from it to skoda or i have to code it to be able to fit on a Skoda.. Just an update.. I have installed the tow bar and it is the samw for sedan/hatchbacks as for estate/combi as it fitted exactly.. Now trying to figure out the controller unit wich looksike is 5Q0907383 for most of the vag.. Hoe to find out wich one will fit my car?

I was thinking the same. Anyway need to buy the control unit and the trim handle wich probably will difera from saloon to estate but hope the metal part are the same.. Will let you know when done.

I have 1D7 preparation for towing trailer wich I presume is the same. The main difference is 3v0* vs 3v9* for estate. I presume there shouldn't be a difference as it is almost no difference between sedan and estates car base... However tried to contact a Skoda dealer and he said the same but at the same time he said then they should do 2 different model if the sedans and estates were the same... Unless it is just a marketing trick.. That's why I want to confirm maybe someone tried before the 3v9* (estate version) instead of 3v0* sedan/saloon version on a sedan/hatchback

Hi. I have a Skoda superb 2016 sedan. I want to fit a tow bar and one of my friend gave me the genuine one from a Skoda superb estate. So My question will it for from estate to sedan. Part number on it is 3v9803881a but the full set it is 3V9 092 160 D.. Anyone fitter a 3v9 092 160 D instead of 3V0 092 160 Dto a sedan? Thanks

I've opened and checked the code 1D7 - preparation for trailer detachable coupling.. (only problem not sure if is just trailer or should be more for caranavan coupling)
