Thanks nicky, I just seen the car forgot to check the serial number on the unit but has Android auto and all that. Getting it on the 9th delivered so will see then, and see about costs for the touch screen.

Am I correct from looking at other thread I could fit 3V0919605D as direct replacement? Which seems to possibly be what my 67 plate had.

Would anyone know what type of unit the new car has with buttons? As my mate has 2014 vrs with button unit but bigger screen. Looking for options for a touch screen if possible and if an easy transition or not? Thanks

Hello, I used to have a 67 plate skoda octavia vrs estate mk3 that had Android auto etc but had the touch screen head unit. Unfortunately this car got written off. But I'm going to view and possibly buy a 17 plate skoda octavia vrs estate mk3 which seems to have smartlink on the photo below but unfortunately buttons and small screen head unit. Anyone know if its easy to upgrade it to the touch screen one that I has before in the 67 plate?

Thanks! I did message them asking about the one on their site but maybe you're right to give them a ring! Plus might be able to help with it being compatible for my car as after speaking to someone selling one on ebay they linked me a chrome one for my car but said their manufacturer doesn't do black one. Imagine aftermarket I assume. Thanks though will give them a ring!

Yeah ive seen it there, but as you said bit expensive unfortunately! Why I asked in the uk but seems ones ive found either sold out or not for face-lift version. Should of bought it ages ago haha

Yeah ive seen that one, the strange thing is it's the same part number as the link in my original post. But unfortunately in the description it says its not for thr face-lift version.

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can buy the black front grille surround for my face-lift vrs? I did find it here but seems they've sold out. https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/products/skoda-octavia-3-fl-gloss-black-grille-surround I did Google the part number from the link above which shows me some on ebay but they go on to say they don't fit the face-lift versions. Preferably in the UK, as Kopacek is quite expensive to get from there. Only seem to find threads regarding pre face-lift and old threads. If anyone knows let me know please? Thanks

Do you know what otterbox case you have? I have samsung mind but trying to find a case that can wireless charge.

Haha hopefully not that deep! Yeah I have access to it as can say you're a company, I've picked it up but it doesn't seem to have been updated. But speaking to the sales guy today he showed me some internal system VW and them use apparently. Wasn't erwin but he said other skoda dealers should be able to use it. Shame erwin not updated as that shows more services than what the guy could show me as it even shows me the delivery inspection when the car was brand new. And including services it had when it was in Germany.

Think the 245 version has ediff not 100% on the 230hp version. Thanks for all the info, I think the car was on a flexible plan to begin with but I've always serviced every year so probably go to fixed plan. The extended scopes worth it? Or best to just do it as per the pictures above

Just checking the bottom image seems they should do fair bits as car is 42k miles so spark plugs, pollen filter and oil&inspection service

Yeah skoda approved used, 12 momth warranty and breakdown it seems comes with. Thanks for the images as I plan on getting main dealer servicing down the line
