Air Conditioning Service
£25.48 per month for 48 months based on 10K per year and 1.5 TSI auto. This is for service and maintenance excluding tyres.

Air Conditioning Service
yes, no free oil top between services. Yes retirement car, so a keeper. As regards AC, my thinking is the cost of an AC service has been factored into my 48 monthly payments for the service/maintenance plan. That being the case, am I missing a trick by not having one?

Air Conditioning Service
It has done just over 25K. It is an all inclusive service/maintenance plan including roadside recovery for 4 years. It is fixed, not variable. Brake fluid and pollen filter at 2 and 4 years. Spark plugs at 4 years. As regards the AC, it is probably at 90% of what it first was.

Air Conditioning Service
I have had a Kamiq from new and it will reach 3 years next month. At time of purchase I took out a 4 year service and maintenance agreement, this includes absolutely everything apart from oil between services. It states an air conditioning service is included but only one within the 4 years. Can I request that is done to keep it tip top or is it only available if deficient?

Sat Nav destination loss
The answer appears to be no. But I do believe, when on a journey, any favs appear on the map with a red heart. But not much use speculating whether "old" favs will reappear when travelling abroad.

Okay, I will try that next time I am in the car.

Sat Nav destination loss
Different versions of the Sat Nav? I am looking at the manual that came with the car. Your second link was password protected! But I guess the question from my original post will just have to remain a mystery.

Sat Nav destination loss
Okay, so the destinations are created on the Connect App and downloaded into the car and saved in Favourites. I only have 40 favourites so have not reached any limit. Your screenshot pf the manual page is not the same as mine which is Amundsen. The destinations from last year are not held within the memory as they have probably been overwritten by fresher ones. Thanks for your suggestions.

Sat Nav destination loss
I have a 22 SEL Exec and am having a strange problem with destination loss. Last year we went to France and I added circa 20 locations which were sent by the Connect App and received by the car. These were saved and stored. Not all locations were used but I noticed a couple of months after I returned that all the French locations had disappeared. We are going to France again in a couple of months and I have loaded circa 12 locations to date and saved them. When I checked last week they were still all there, but when I checked today 6 have already gone. It is only French locations that disappear and all my UK ones remain. Am scratching my head, any ideas? Thanks

Questions on my new kamiq
I have just said hello on the main board having taken delivery of my brand new Kamiq this week. I have the same issues as the OP as I find the provided manual and the online manual lacking in detail! Marineboy, I have the same model i.e., Kamiq SEL Executive 1.5TSI DSG as you. Can I cheekily ask that if I PM you, that you will email me a copy of the PDF edition?

Service Plan and Extended Warranty versus Service and Maintenance contract
Thanks for the quick reply roottoot! This is where I need help because on service schedules there is a £260 charge for DSG oil change at 4 years, but I read on forums it is not needed? That is just one example. If it is needed it would be included under the maintenance plan but not the extended warranty. Also Cambelt at year 5 is included under maintenance plan but not under warranty unless it fails early. As I cannot get details I cannot weigh up costs between the two routes. And, if as you say, I have to commit before car is registered, but I cannot get costs until I get a reg number.........☹️

Service Plan and Extended Warranty versus Service and Maintenance contract
Hello, this is my first post whilst I impatiently await my Kamiq SEL Exec 1.5 TSI DSG. I am buying this outright i.e., not PCP and as I have been driving for 55 years this might well be my last car, so I want to look after it. I think delivery is about 4 weeks away but will obviously wait until 1st Sept. I am trying to research service and maintenance costs but keep coming up against a brick wall because I dont have a Reg number. I am looking at 2 ways of doing things. Either the 2 year service package for a new car costing £456 plus extended 5 year warranty costing £515. Or, Service and Maintenance plan from the word go. I would be doing 10K per annum and obviously on the fixed service regime. My problems are getting costs! If I look at a 5 year timeframe for option 1, I would need to add in servicing costs for years 3 to 5. I want to compare it with option 2 but havent a clue on costs for that. I have spoken with Skoda customer services and they tell me it will depend upon what options I have included which might effect maintenance costs and wait until I get a VIN or reg number. Presumably others have been down this route, so I ask is the service/maintenance contract a good buy because it includes virtually everything?
