  1. i have a 2012 superb diesel. the clutch pedal has been sticking down on and off for a few months. it has lost no fluid it will do thisa few times then be ok for a few days. before i start changing parts is it possible this could be something like a sticky pedal pivot needs oiling. i dont feel like changing the clutch outside at this time of year.

  3. what size spare do you need? i have a wheel with a 205/55r16 never been on a car. it was to fit a octavia if its any help to you and i am in norwich.

  8. 2x 205/55r16 one is 3 years old but never been on a car it was bought new by me fora spare in an octavia i had on lease the other is used with plenty of tread on a space saver rim this cam from my superb as it was replaced wit a matching alloy. £40 for the new one £25 for the space saver. i would prefer if you could collect from Norwich nr3.

  10. is there away of knowing which discs are fitted without taking the wheels off and checking them . the car is a 2012 diesel estate with a cffb engine it is also the elegance trim if that makes a difference ?
  11. look at seeing a solicitor to sue the other driver for your losses.
  12. mine was letting fumes into the car when standing. it was trying to do a DPF regen gave it a good run and it cleared it.
  13. i will be looking at the wiring at the weekend if its the problem i will order the kit. over the Christmas holiday remove the door loom and get it on the bench for easy access then hope i can get it back together.

  15. thanks for the help. i take it that's the plug inside the door that connects to the door switch. looks like a fun job over the Christmas holidays.
  16. the driver's window switch seems to work when it feels like it that's all the switches on the driver's door and the rear door. checked the fuses on the driver's side fuse box all fuses were ok and it worked then stopped again pushed fuses in and it worked again. any known loose connectors in that area.

  18. thats about what it cost me for a new battery and a coder reader to register the battery to the car . the battery on mine did not need registering.
  19. no system will ever make everybody happy. it will always seem unfair to some.
  20. ved car tax same thing different name. the system we use now is just crazy. when i was looking to buy my skoda superb it was find a car and see what the tax is . two cars the same model can have different rates . all cars should pay the same those with bigger cars oar doing more miles will pay more in fuel duty.
  21. its about time they taxed electric cars . tax has been used as a punishment for far too long all cars should be taxed at the same rate they all use the same roads.
