Automatic window functionality lost after disconnecting battery
As I wrote in my OP, I did the reset, which worked on most windows. The key fob did not work after reset, which is the reason I made the post. With the quality of the manual, I would actually much rather stick to what people write in the forums with a little bit of critical thinking. I have found the manual to give confusing instructions, and a single time being straight up wrong about something. So no, that is not what I call "good basis". Detailed guides with proper visuals from people working on the exact same model of car is much preferable to me. A lightbulb was broken, which is why I needed to change them. Does the manual have something important to say about that, or why the snarky comment?

Automatic window functionality lost after disconnecting battery
Resetting the specific Settings mentioned by @Warrior193 to factory settings fixed it. Just switching off and on did nothing. So everything works now. Couple of good tips here in regards to the settings and battery next time. And yes, i actually think a window was rolled down when I removed the battery.

Automatic window functionality lost after disconnecting battery
I found it a lot easier to just remove the battery instead of going through that small gap from below ot the wheel

Automatic window functionality lost after disconnecting battery
Hi Car is a SKODA FABIA III kombi (NJ5) I recently disconnected the car battery when I needed to change the front light-bulbs. This however caused a reset of functionality for the windows. Two issues: This is the main current issue. Previously before the reset I could roll down the windows remotely by pressing the Unlock button on key-fob and holding it (and closing with Lock button). This functionality is still not working, and Google does not really give me a clue to how to fix it. Any tips? This issue is partyly fixed: Fully depressing(or pulling) the windows keys on the doors did not make the windows continue after you released. This was fixed by a "reset" by fully holding them down and continuing for ~5 seconds after windows where down. Then the same in the up direction. I can't make it work on the right rear window though, so not 100% fixed Any help is appreciated!

Boot lid stuck in cold weather - mechanics issue
I tried with some lock-oil on spray that can hand high freeze temperatures on the mechanism, but it was still frozen this morning. As said before, I'm 100% sure it's not the rubber seals around the trunk that gets frozen. It's super easy to open with the manual opening from the inside. I'm sure it's an issue with the locking mechanism itself

Boot lid stuck in cold weather - mechanics issue
Hi I got an issue with my Skoda Fabia 1.0 Tsi 95 Combi from 2020. Both this winter and last winter (only two years I've had it), I've had issues with the locking mechanism in the boot lid. When temperatures gets sufficiently low, somewhere around -2 degress celcius, the locking mechanism is stuck and doesn't work. I can open the boot lid from the inside using the manual opening (getting a screwdriver in a small hole), but it's impossible to unlock from the outside. So it's definitely not frozen to the rubber edges, it opens perfectly fine from within. When using both the normal button on the key and the one to open the boot lid only, nothing happens. As in, there is no sound from the mechanism inside. From my experience, after using the car for some time and allowing it to heat up makes me believe that this is a temporary issue only when the locking mechanism is cold. Does anyone know if there is something I can do to fix it myself? I have some warranty from the dealership, but it's far away and I would love to save all the trouble from going there.

Missing wifi option in Skoda Fabia (Swing)
@varooom I successfully upgraded the version, thank you a lot for the help. However, I still see no options for wifi in the settings. My knowledge of cars is sparse, but everywhere I can read in manuals etc, it sounds like the Swing infotainment should have the wifi functionality. Do you know if some models don't?

Missing wifi option in Skoda Fabia (Swing)
It helps a lot, thanks! However, is there a download site somewhere for it? A Google search only shows a lot of examples of you helping people with the file 😅

As you can see in the picture, that version is the one currently installed

Missing wifi option in Skoda Fabia (Swing)
I recently purchased a used Skoda Fabia model 2020. HOwever, I cannot get the connection to my Android up and running. I'm following the setup in the MySkoda app, but when I come to the point where I have to enable a hotspot on my phone, I'm stuck as I cannot find the option on the infotainment system to connect to a wifi. I tried following the manual, but the option simply isn't there. I took a few pictures if the version of the Swing-system, hopefully it can help troubleshooting a bit. The system was initially set up in Danish, but I switched to English thinking it might be a localization issue.
