No idea, I reported this issue several times within the warranty and a month prior I told them there's no chance in hell I'm letting the car go out of warranty with this issue present. So they ordered the screen but it arrived when the warranty ended, it's fine because it was reported in time.

They just replaced my screen. I really hope this stupid issue is no longer. We managed to figure that it was caused due to heat, it only happened in the summer, basically, due to the heat it kept on pressing the power button as it thought it was intended by the user. I'm out of warranty, let's hope it's resolved, but it's winter now and this stupid thing only happened in the summer.

It was, I tried to insert and remove several times for these 2 remotes. it didn't work without that step, it didn't even had the red blip before pressing them.

Took me a while to figure this one out. Remove the battery. Press some keys Insert the new battery (again) Done, no need in manually unlocking or anything else, it just worked and I was able to unlock the car and start it.

Hi, I've replaced the battery yet I'm unable to resync. I've followed the instructions: Press any key unlock & open the door While trying to start the engine it says key not recognized (or something similar, it's in Hebrew) What am I doing wrong? I really don't want the garage involved as starting last week, I'm out of warranty (right on time! ) :( Thanks

Yep, thing is, I've only had Ibiza, Hyundai I30 and Fiat Bravo, all are easy comparing to the Octavia. I guess I'll have to practice either way.

Enough power for FWD? THe cupras (leon + formentor) has 300-310HP and they too are FWD, the thing that fraustrates me the most is the turbo lag really, not the HP.

So sad, it's so cheap and so useful for me personally, I hate parallel parking, it's so fraustrating especially with this somewhat long car. I wonder if a retrofit is possible for a decent price

Hi all, I got a 2021 model Octavia RS, for some reason it only has the sensors functionallity but lacks the wheel turning one, I assume it's the same sensors and I would also assume that the wheel turning mechanism is there as I do have lane assist. I can also see that some models have 3D aero view. Is it possible to activate this with OBD Eleven or any hack?

That's the difference between a random passer by to an "expert", I live in a place that don't have much car/wheel theft, + a really out-of-sight private parking + the entrance to my neighborhood is secured by a guard (when he's not sleeping). What worries me is a random parking spot, where there won't be an expert stealing it, that will make it harder to steal.

For Israel the Skoda rep. told me to wait until.... June 2023, that's what their contract will say - Mamba green, no Canton / Blind Spot (you can't really spec anything anyways) Luckily, a showroom car just went available as we were talking, so should be getting it next week - not a penny off though.
