Estate netting system and rug install in boot
Funnily enough, that's exactly where the bulk of my nets are sitting too! Good idea from Skoda but instructions would have been great.

Is it just me or is the vrs sluggish if having switched from eco to sport?
Could be purely psychological but if I've had it in eco mode for the very slow start/stop 10km school run (for a few days) and then switch to sport/normal, car kinda feels sluggish for 25-50 kms. Anyone else experienced this? I have a 2023 vrs if it makes a difference.

Estate netting system and rug install in boot
Hey guys, Try as I might, I can't figure out how to install the netting system on the boot walls. From a pic I've seen, the rug seems to be able to hang on the boot wall on the rhs but I can't find anywhere to do this. Has anyone got both installed and able to take a pic please? Cheers

Ais Roadtrip and cylinder glaze
Thanks Gerrycan. I'll be sure to update once I'm back or maybe on the fly. Only planning on doing tarmac rds as agree, don't reckon the RS rims will fare well on dirt. Hit a small pot hole today and the bang was so loud scared the ### out of my dogs. Good tip on octane boost. Hoping to only use BP as have tried them all and BP consistently outperforms Ampol and Shell's equivalent petrol but guess beggars won't be choosers. Shell was by far the worst with car sluggish and shocking mileage. Lucky I have petrol cards to all 3 so should be ok (hopefully). Hadn't actually considered that I may not get 98. Is your speedo out on your car? Mine is the first car I've ever seen that is pretty much exactly on the mark. Literally 1km out. Not 5% like all my other cars I've ever had. Tried both s23 and iPhone 13 GPS and both exactly the same. Thought it was a skoda thing lol. Thanks for all the advice guys, can't wait to stretch her legs!!

Ais Roadtrip and cylinder glaze
Cheers guys, I think you're right and I'm probably past any point where I need to worry but to play it safe, might just have to plan on doing a heap of overtaking :). I've had a few new company cars and have never even thought of doing this and they've always worked perfectly regardless of not being babied. I appreciate all the help

Ais Roadtrip and cylinder glaze
Thanks Steve. Probably being a little over cautious but she's my baby. Other cars wouldn't have cared less. Will proceed as suggested

Ais Roadtrip and cylinder glaze
Beauty, thank you. Do you think it is a concern or am I being too cautious? Thanks for responding too!

Ais Roadtrip and cylinder glaze
Hey guys, Proud owner of my23 vrs estate and putting the 2 dogs and 2 girls and heading in central Australia later this year. She'll likely have done around 5k km's by that point. The idea was to stretch her legs but 2nd guessing myself I'm wondering if I should be concerned with cylinder glaze if I'm doing some long and straight legs? There'll be some legs where there'll be 5-6 hours of straight rd at 110. I reckon at lease 4-5 of those Figured she's well and truely bed in but not 100%.. Any feedback from the braintrust please?

Octavia VRS
It definetly sounds different! The remus isn't bad but sounds a little like rice canon. If it's gonna be loud, I'd want the pops and crackle. This one is perfect :). I'd so be snapping one up now if I could find one

Octavia VRS
Now that is exactly what I'm after. Not obnoxious but enough to sound like she's got some grunt. I've done a google search but can't find anything about this oem sport exhaust. Would anyone know the part no or what I should be searching for?

Octavia VRS
I've been looking at an external soundkator (essentially). There are a few on the market that seem ok. I'd love to go a full exhaust but being a lease and a work car, kinda have to keep it as stock as possible. If there was a muffler only swap route I'd love that but it will have no meaningful impact. The price is pretty similar to the exhaust system with no performance enhancement which is a bitter pill. The sound though is tuneable which is pretty cool and would have no impact to warranty from what I've read but stuck on the fact that it's a cosmetic change only.
