Fixed , used windows this time and copied just'maps' folder into sd card

Hi all Hope everyone is doing OK, I downloaded the new 2024 map from skoda portal ,following instructions from skoda site in copying extracted contents to the sd card, once card is loaded I get the message 'navigation maps dB not available ' , any advice or any links on old version of maps ,

Is the tvs engineering gearbox software worth it (around 400£) , ,has anyone done mapped this to their karoq ? https://tvsengineering.com/en/dsg-gearbox/dq200/ Thanks

Hello all Rear pads are due for a change on karoq , read somewhere that vcds or similar is required to disengage electronic parking brake which puts in a dilemma whether to choose independent garage or go to dealer as i am not sure if an independent garage follow the right process to change the pads or create more problems to the vehicle, what's your advice

Your car should support android auto , if it does then you just connect your phone to usb port

Hey all Need advice , Can I just use any brand for adblue topup for My karoq or does it have to be vw official ? currently have a warning saying 1400miles adblue range remaining everytime I start the engine I have a shell station nearby with adblue pump , so wondering if i can just topup from there?

Almost similar buying experience to yours at this dealership , if it wasn't for the forum experts like @varooom I would have simply paid more than 1500£ for gearbox oil and cambelt change , both which were not required but was told I had to get them done at 40k /50k during my last visit to dealership ,

Hi Varooom , wondering if you could help, i understand the 5 year recommendation from skoda for cambelt change ,but just out of curiosity i would like to know what my car(karoq) has I don't have any of those DADA or DCPA , only have ACDGTEX0 next to the varient , does it mean it requires electronic tool for belt change or lifelong belt ?
