Just to close the loop on this I ended up selling the 190 and bought the 272 L&K which was basically the same except the engine. I now have the Damptronic shocks on her and am very happy with the results. Thanks for the help on this.

Price: £170 plus £10 postage to UK (will cost you £220 to buy from the Europe including customs duty) Description: As per the description for sale is a brand new CanBus adaptor to allow the fitment of the newer Skoda steering wheel (with the silver thumb wheels) to an older car. I used the exact same one to fit the newer wheel to my 2017 Superb and worked perfectly. I believe it works on most other Skoda's using the same steering wheel setup (see below). Selling as I had it ready to do another swap but then ended up buying a newer model anyway. I highly recommend doing this swap. It really modernises the interior. Nope they are not the Damptronic because I'm an idiot and I didn't realise I had DCC at all 😞 Looks like I'll have to return and order the Damptronics. At least the springs will fit Cheers

Hi all, I just took my car to garage to get the B6's fitted and they told me that they won't work as mine has electronic suspension control. I had no idea, what an idiot!!!! Newb question, how is Electronic Suspension Control different to DCC? I've just been quoted £1300 for parts alone from Skoda for the correct shocks 😞. I guess the only way to get a firmer ride is to fork out for the shocks so I'm able to fit the stiffer springs........nightmare. Cheers

UPDATE: @JR RS had the 245 tyres fitted today. There were indeed cheaper and look better on the wheels than the 235. @MartiniB got the springs but when I took them to get them fitted the garage advised me that my shocks are on the way out so I abandoned the job and have just ordered some Bilstein B6’s all around. I’ll get them all fitted together in a week or so. thanks for the advice

Sorry JR RS, I should have added that I don’t have DCC 😞 The Eibach pro for mine lowers 25mm at the rear and 30-35mm at the front which is more than I want. Yours looks awesome by the way, but just a little lower than I want. MartiniB, thanks for the links. The second one is where I read that the Sportline springs are lower (15mm is perfect for me). But I now see the pt numbers on the same thread which I missed before. However these pt numbers are for an estate, do you know if the Hatchback is the same? Cheers

Hi all, I’m thinking of making some changes to the suspension on my 2017 Superb 2.0 TDI 190 L&K hatchback for a couple of reasons. 1. I’d like it to be a tiny bit lower (I’m talking 10-15mm, nowhere near as low at the Eibach or H&R lowering springs would take it). 2. I’d like the handling to be a bit tighter. and I wanted to run my idea past this group. From what I read the the Sportline is a little lower than the L&K so I was thinking about getting the standard Sportline hatchback springs and putting them on some Bilstein B6 dampers. Will this address both of my points? If so, anyone got the part numbers for the Sportline 2.0 TDI 190 springs? if not, anyone got any other suggestions? Cheers
