how important is the offset when running on a spare? any issues with say a 8J et49 rim on the spare, ie 5mm different compared to the other 3 et44?

Thanks for such a detailed reply @Carlston . unfortunately your links don't seem to work for me . I don't mind if the spare sits a bit higher up in the boot well , I can easily sort that out . I think maybe people are missing my point or I've not been clear enough in my initial post....I've got an opportunity to buy a cheap ex kodiaq ,19" 7J 43et Rim to use as a spare . I'm currently running stock Vega wheels that are 19"8J 44et with tyres of 235/40/r19 and a space saver spare, limited to 80km/hr when in use. I'm trying to work out what tyre, if any I can put on the kodiaq Rim which would then still be compatible with my other 3 Vegas when in use... ie not be speed limited, have the same rolling radius/ride height etc... to be safe and not potentially damage the car. Thanks JR. I understand I shouldn't use a 235 tyre on a 7" wheel. Im trying to find out if I can use a 19" 7J ET 43 Rim from a Kodiaq as a spare IF I can figure out what tyre to put in it. Finding an exact matching 19" 8J 44et Vega Rim has been difficult.

Thanks Pete. Currently have 235/40/r19 tyres . I've been reading lots online trying to figure it all out. Found some online calculators too but still can't t seem to get a consistent result .

Hi clever people . I'm looking to get a full sized spare wheel for my sportline wagon. I'm currently running the stock Vega rims, 19inch, 8J, 5 spoke. Is there any problems with using a 19 inch 7J width Rim from a Kodiaq? Thanks.
