  1. Hi I need to replace the battery on my Octavia 2017 2.0 DSG. Can I simply replace the battery myself with no adverse effect? Or do I need to go to a Skoda specialist? Thanks for your advice. JC
  2. Thanks, I need to fuel today, so this is the perfect time to try it. I will let you know how it goes. Just one question to the cetane-booster, I guess it is better to add it after filling the tank?
  3. Hi W. Thanks for getting back to me. Correct assumption, 2.0 / 110KW diesel. The vibration has bee there for maybe 12 months, or even longer cos I might not have noticed it. It is difficult to check the actual engine movement, as the vibration is quite a high frequency. Strange is that it seems to be effected by the weather, during last summer/autumn the vibration was evident, then during the winter (it gets cold here) there was no sign of it, now the weather is warm again it's back🤪 Does this give any more clues? Thanks. J.
  4. Hi I would like to try again to reach out and get some advice please🙂 I have a vibration problem, it happens when accelerating and when the revs hit 2000, the vibration is quite high frequency and stays there if I stay constant at 2000 rpm. It is mainly visible when I check my rear view mirror, the mirror is vibrating at high frequency, so the vehicle behind me is not clearly visible. The vibration is not directly through the steering wheel, but generally it seems to come through the engine area. The vibration is is still there at 2000 rpm with the car not moving. Also, probably because the car is no moving, the vibration is more evident physically. Has anyone else has this? does anyone know the reason and the resolution. Thanks for any advice you can offer👍🤞
