Vibration with my Octavia 2017 2.0 DSG

Featured Replies

I have a vibration problem, it happens when accelerating and when the revs hit 2000, the vibration is quite high frequency and stays there if I stay constant at 2000 rpm. It is mainly visible when I check my rear view mirror, the mirror is vibrating at high frequency, so the vehicle behind me is not clearly visible. The vibration is not directly through the steering wheel, but generally it seems to come through the engine area.

Has anyone else has this? does anyone know the reason and the resolution.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Does it do with the car not moving and the revs at 2000?

I never really checked, but I will check today, I will let you know.

I checked, and it is still there with the car not moving. Also, probably because the car is no moving, the vibration is more evident physically.
