Apologies, thought it would go un noticed in this thread since it is unrelated and not really replying to anyone.

2012 Fabia II 1.2TDi Windshield Washer Pump (Fuse location)
Thanks So I guess my best bet is to take it out, check the connection is secured and try it out again - and swap it if still no result? I'm seeing it strange because I've just changed the T-Belt and Alt belt, and the clutch, and it was working before. I was thinking it might have something to do with the battery when I disconnected and reconnected. But so far everything else is working.

Stereo with built-in wireless Android Auto / carplay
Also, recently I was looking to install the Amundsen+ in mine, to keep it as stock as possible. Did you look into them? Shouldn't be too big of a deal, and can find used units at a decent price (Though doubt they'd offer same things as Apple/Android Auto)

2012 Fabia II 1.2TDi Windshield Washer Pump (Fuse location)
I've just noticed the windshield washer pump is not working. Checked the fuses 26 and 44 - however they are only for wiper motors, and are fine. I don't see any fuse marked for the washer pump. Am I missing something? Do you guys know which fuse it would be? I'd like to have a look at them before taking off the wheel arch lining to take out the pump itself. Cheers

2012 Fabia II 1.2TDi limited to 3,000RPM in neutral
Hey all I have just serviced my Fabia - new timing and alternator belts, clutch, oil filter and oil and coolant change. I started the car and in neutral it won't rev past 3,000RPM - didn't have time to take it out and try it on the road yet so no idea if it would do it also in gear. I've read somewhere it can be normal to protect the car in neutral when stationary. I've only had the car since January and never revved it up in idle much so have no idea if it used to exceed 3,000rpm before. Anyone has any feedback? Did I miss a plug or so? Only thing that comes to mind is that I tried to remove the brake vacuum hose that goes through the enigne hoist point at the back - it was very hard and gave up so instead lifted the engine from the bottom using a trolley jack. (see pic below: I tried to undo the part on the left, that goes towards the firewall). It was very hard to press it back together as it was originally - so maybe something to do with it? No warning lights came on on the dashboard. PS I'm planning to connect it to an OBD2 reader (whenever my uncle who's a mechanic has time to come over). Thank you Daniel

A/C Knob Replacement
Hey all! I have recently bought a Skoda Fabia II in Czech Republic, in pretty decent condition. The only thing I didn't like about it was the A/C unit - same knobs as I had on my '98 Polo hah! So I ordered the ones as in the following picture. When I got them, I tried to replace them however I noticed that they do not fit. These are marketed for the Fabia II, and on every website I have found, they are identical. My knobs have like a thin pointy stick which inserts into the unit, not a chunky cylindrical thing like these. Any ideas/suggestions? I cannot seem to find replacement knobs with the same insert as the ones on my car, so am wondering if maybe there is a step I am missing (like making these fit or an adapter or so). Cheers:) Okrasné kryty na ovládání topení klimi, manuálně Škoda Fabia II (topnahradnidily.cz)
