  1. As far as I know, 1985 is the latest version available.
  2. Do you mean to say there's an infotainment software update 2035 available?
  3. Fyi. 9to5MaciOS 18.4 breaks CarPlay connectivity for some iPhone user...Apple released iOS 18.4 for iPhone users on with Priority Notifications, new emoji, several changes to CarPlay, and more. According...
  4. Update: I've filed a bug report with Apple and the system shows they've received "less than 10" similar reports, so I encourage you to do the same.
  5. I followed the instructions and turned off everything as instructed. Today, I did the drive, but the wireless CarPlay disconnected, which has been happening for the past several months. Yeah, the “fix” didn’t work. 🙁
  6. I’m passing by a gas station and a shopping center, so nothing unusual. This happens whenever I go back and forth, regardless of the time of day. There are also several places in the city where this happens whenever I drive by. It’s so common and frequent that it’s starting to get annoying to me. It’s definitely location-specific, as I’m not able to replicate it at home.
  7. I'm driving a 2022 Octavia with infotainment software version 1985, and I've noticed that wireless Apple CarPlay consistently disconnects at the same locations during my daily commute. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix for this annoying issue? My iPhone is running the latest iOS version. I've removed and re-paired it with my Octavia several times, rebooted the infotainment, but that hasn’t solved the problem. It seems like there might be some interference at those specific spots - possibly overlapping Wi-Fi channels or other signals disrupting the connection.
  8. New buggs, less stable version, malfunctioning or nonfunction apps, battery drain, increased loading times … There are lots of reasons. New version isn’t always a better one. Anyways, I still agree 1985 is the best version my Octavia ever had.
  9. This is kinda true, but you can still downgrade any iOS device as long as Apple’s still signing the older iOS version.
  10. I’ve been running 1985 for a week now. Apple CarPlay is the same if you’re rocking an iPhone. The system boots faster and has some smoother animations. That’s about everything I’ve noticed so far.
  11. What you’re showing here are Android Auto specific features. This has nothing to do with your infotainment’s software version.
  12. How did you manage to find this photo? If anyone happens to have a download link, it would be appreciated.
  13. I’ve updated 4 cars using USB from Mac with no issues whatsoever and with no extra utilities. Everything was just fine.
  14. Please make sure you download the file named MOI3_EU_SK_R9410L MU1941_SK20230615S.7z.
  15. Please read the topic. The link has been posted several times.
  16. Someone reported that the first archive was currupted so they reuploaded it. Therefore, download and use the second one.
  17. Is your engine off and just the ignition on? Are the only files on USB those needed for the update?
  18. Fyi, I had a backup camera installed recently in my 2023 Octavia Style because I hadn't been able to order it with that trim back then. They installed the original one, did the diagnostics, programing and coding, as well as the callibration. The whole thing is covered under warrenty. The official Skoda dealer had a subcontractor that performed all the work.
  19. I dunno about you, but I cannot see **** in heavy rain in my Octavia if the rear wiper isn't on.
  20. You should go ahead and download MOI3_EU_SK_R9410L MU1941_SK20230615S and apply it. My car was also runnig VW software train prior to the update to SK one.
