Cambelt and water pump was replaced last in 2022. I bought the vehicle in 2023

It's a 7 speed but I don't know much in-depth info about it.

Hello everyone! I'm about to service my vehicle as it has clocked 10,000 miles upon last service and I am trying to buy the parts myself, I have been trying to get the type of engine oil to buy from my manual booklet but can't find any specific information. I was told to get the engine oil, oil filter and air filter for the service as I was ripped off by Skoda service centre and they literally just changed oil, oil filter, brake fluid and was charged £279. I need your guidance on this please.

I have stopped switching on the AC and it is still down a bit in the urban area. I haven't been able to take it on the motorway yet though. I might just give this a try, who knows what I might find.

I am currently in this similar situation, i used a vauxhall before buying my skoda 30th of May and I noticed when I am in a lower gear, it kind of revs higher and jumps forward or if I was on a 30 miles per hour and then I turn into my drive to park, it slows down to engage and revs a bit higher than normal. All of these does not happen while driving on the motorway. Also I noticed my car has been underperforming when it comes to fuel consumption. Doing 40 miles per gallon on the motorway. I took it to a Skoda certified garage for servicing but they are not being clear about what is wrong with the vehicle.

Hello Skoda family, I just got a skoda octavia from a car dealer and I've got 3 months warranty ending soon. I noticed recently the car is consuming lots of fuel and I took it in for a service at a Skoda garage DM Keith and still its averaging at 40 miles per gallon and also during the health check I was told that the gearbox has a sign of previous repair or strip down. How do I know if the car is still safe for driving or I need to return back to the dealer. Also what is the average consumption for a 1.6 Litre diesel engine with a DSG gearbox? Any help or advice would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.
