Water in boot
Doesn't it come up through the thread where the wheel securing bolt goes, if the bolts not there?

Car windows open when the car is not in use
Sure enough. A quick press seems to time out and lock itself again after a few minutes but a long press (giving an audible clunk) doesn't. Even pressing the central locking button doesn't necessarily lock the boot until after it's been opened and firmly closed again Far less noticeable than wide open windows right enough but troubling nonetheless. Why oh why do they keep opening up such opportunities for chancers, by default. 🙄

T&P Burrelton are legendary. Is such confidence misplaced? http://www.simoncars.co.uk/ado16/slides/Morris 1100 MkII rear.jpg

Thats pretty much Skoda main dealer pricing. Better the devil you know. 😄 Locus of Perth & up the A9.

I'll check. 👍 The Services, MOTs, breakdown, plugs and just one of the filters would about cover the 'All in one' cost though, even valuing the breakdown at just £65 pa., IF prepared to be tied down to just Retailers (main dealers) doing the work, with not many to choose from in the Highlands. 😄. Then the warranty would be a bonus.

Better tables than what I found (linked below) but essentially saying the same. 'All-in-One' btw. includes spark plugs, pollen filter and air filter each once in the two years, but not 'Maintenance' items like Brake Fluid, Aircon or Cambelt. https://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/servicing-maintenance-fixed-price

After the vehicle has been in for service or other work this can get reset back to On, which is the default, so it pays to check it after again after any workshop or battery work.

At that price the warranty is pitched as being almost a free bonus.

Mine was coming up as only between £150 & £230 depending on level of cover. The 'All in one' service plan covers 2 years servicing, MOTs, AA roadside assistance & fullest level of warranty extension, for about £840.

Skoda fabia start stop error
The Start/Stop won't work when the Battery is low or there is high demand on the battery. I had the Start/Stop showing an Error, not working and both the Emissions light & Engine Management light come on for about 300 miles, after vehicle had not moved for several weeks. They eventually all resolved by themselves & didn't come back. The dealer found something in their TPI (Tech. Product bulletins) though, suggesting this may benefit from the 'Turbo Waste Gate' being replaced though.
