It is a Westfalia tow bar, which I believe is OEM for the Skoda tow bar. fuse 28,38 and 44 are missing.
-
I can't think why it should go while I was fiddling with the light unit but then, equally, I cannot think why a single fuse should knock out all the lights and not effect the car
-
My car is fitted with a reversing camera and a Westfalia towing hook. Trying to sort out the side/ stop light on one side of the trailer I must have blown a fuse as none of the lights work now. But which fuse? The three assigned fuse positions do not have fuses. The only indication is that the front parking assister no longer works. Could that have been used? Being linear minded I do not understand why a single fuse should have knocked out all the trailer lights as they have separate circuits and their own fuses (all the lights still work on the Superb estate). Hiding the fuses and providing such a small diagram suggests they do not want plebs to touch them!

Is there any way to turn off the night time sat nav screen? Pretty much all I can see is a red dart on a black background making navigation virtually impossible, especially on the move.

I have just bought a Mk II Guardsman dog guard for my Mk III with a panoramic roof. It fits exactly. The only issue is that it needs longer 'J' bolts (208 - 210 mm) than those for the MkII. Personally, it is such a tight fit and doesn't rattle that I probably won't bother with the 'J' bolts. Note that the standard grill is one 'square' taller than the panoramic (part number with P suffix) version. I was put off the Mk III version because it has a lower grill extension which requires the cargo bay cover end to stick up when fitted.

Car windows open when the car is not in use
King John replied to King John's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Possible. I always carry the keys in my pocket. Thank you -
You are right. I couldn't get the plug in until I took terminal locking tab off. Tried it just now and it went in. Must have ben the wrong way around. Said I was thick!
-
For those thick, like me, the purple cover slides off towards the centre of the car (with a bit of effort).

Both my screen washer jets are blocked, while the rear jet is pushing out a lot of fluid. I never though that I would need to ask this but how can I clear them? I have no idea if it is a fan type sprayer. It just seemed to go on the screen like any other screen washer (when it was working!). 2015 Superb Estate. Everything thing appears to be hidden inside the bonnet.

My wife's fob has just given up. Fortunately not a keyless system. Back home the spare worked. Swapped batteries around and only the spare worked again. Where do I go from here?

Mine was supplied and fitted through Witter. -
Rear Lamp Cluster removal (again!)
King John replied to CapstanPlug's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021)
Two credit cards with a flat screwdriver worked for me, but it isn't for the feint hearted! -
Thanks for the reply. One last question. I've seen a number of 6V0 601 025 L (as opposed to A), mainly from Rapid's. Is that the same wheel but by a different manufacturer?

2018 Superb Estate Car Seat Query
King John replied to amateurdad's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
With the seats fully back there is still loads of foot space in the rear, which makes me wonder why they penny piched and didn't fit folding seat bases in the estate?
